A circle of radius r has the same total area of an m x m square and a m x n rectangle combined. What does m equal in terms of n and r? Why?

I spent a little over three hours trying to solve this and got nowhere. All I know is that r=√((m²+mn)/π) and n=((πr²)/m)-m. Ugh.

So, today my class was having a discussion about Romanticism. In this story, the author was like "the vagrants have it lucky because they are closer to nature than the rest of us", which we all agreed was insensitive, seeing as all the Romanticists were well-off and did not understand how being homeless can be really difficult. So, I'm just wondering, did the Romanticists do anything to help the lesser-well-off people or did they just sit around and write fancy poetry?

Okay, I got soooo many zits its not even funny. And they all leave these black little scars afterwards. Anyway I can get rid of them?

Ok, so I really like this guy. He's really nice to me (though he is to most people) and he's smart and hot too. He's really popular though and I'm really not. And I don't think he likes me back that way, that way (he may like someone else even, but I'm not sure). Also, I'm kinda shy. I'm not even close to him, as in friends, but I'm pretty sure he catches me staring at him a lot. When I look over at him, a lot of times he's looking at me back, so he might know I like him (though probably not). Anyway, I'm head-over-heels for him and I may be leaving the school next year so I just really want to tell him. So how would I?

Ok, so this is horrible; I stole something today... I was at this place, and there was a bunch of small shops set up. So, as everything was closing, I went to this shop (and I know one of the two owners) and bought something. Since I knew one if them (kind of, they're friends of a friend), I started talking to them. As she was talking, the other owner left to go buy something from another shop. I took one of the small items and stuck it in my bag. The other owner came back and looked at me weirdly, so I don't know if she knows I stole or not. She didn't say anything though... I left, but felt REALLY guilty. So, I want to give it back to them now, but I won't be seeing them for a while so... Do you think they found out? And what should I do? Just forget? Or should I try to contact them and give it back? They're also might or might not be cameras there but I took it discreetly...

They were competing for Russia during the figure skating ice dance free dance program at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, on February 17, 2014. They were amazing. I liked their routine best out of all of them... they should have won at least a medal. :P Though I'm glad US won (besides this whole scandal now).

Can I buy at shoprite or walmart or something like that? It's for a friend because we're throwing a party for them (cause it's their birthday) and I need it fast. I don't want to buy it online or anything like (and I can't anyway cause they won't come in time). So anywhere I can buy it where it's inexpensive (cause I don't have too much money) and it's fast?

I know the obvious (sort of) reasons, like because people don't like the unknown and things they don't understand but why? Why can't we just accept others for who they are. It just makes me really sad to see that. Now don't get me wrong, I judged and hated others for their differences too. And I'm probably even worse then most because I KNOW it's wrong and that it hurts, heck, people done it to me many times before, yet I still do it. I hate it when I do that. I want to help but I guess I'm a coward. Anyway, enough about me. I just want to know,

why do you hate others, if you do? Please give me honest answers, not something you might think I want to hear. If you don't hate others, kudos to you, you are an amazing person; it'll be wonderful if you could give me tips on how to stop hating and being judgmental.

So its been going on for a while but recently this is just getting worse. So, every time I move my mouse over something (ex. a choice for a online quiz), I have the urge to click it, and the only way for it to go away is for me to press my fingers against the screen and "wipe" it. Or like when in a movie, someone is holding a knife to someone else's throat but doesn't actually touch their throat, I just want the knife to press against their neck and the only way to make it go away is squeeze my eyes shut tightly for a second or so and scrunch up my nose. Also, when I wash my hands and use soap, I have to keep my hands there longer then necessary because I keep thinking that there's still soap on my hands. Also, I just always want to touch everything and I'm constantly brushing/ wiping away "dust" on stuff. So... what the heck is wrong with me?! D:

So I promised a friend on fanfiction that I'll write anything that she requests (which you should never do) and she requested yaoi. I really don't want to write any sort of yaoi so how can I nicely tell her that I don't want to do it?
