How to get baby to sleep in crib?
My little one has been sleeping in her own crib, in her own room for over 6 months now without any problems. Well, all of a sudden the other night when we tried to put her to bed, she woke up immediately after being laid in her crib. She got up and was bawling! Now, she won't sleep at all in her crib and wakes up every single attempt at putting her in it. I don't know what to do! We looked up tips and nothing is working. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you handle it?
7 AnswersNewborn & Baby9 years agoConfused...Do you think I'm pregnant?
So, I am now 10 days late for my period. This has never happened to me before. I have been late but only by a few days. I took a home pregnancy test 7 days after my period was due, it was negative. Now it's been 10 days and I took another pregnancy test this morning and it was also negative. I have been using the e.p.t brand home pregnancy tests. Now, I was not on birth control and we used pull out method, which has worked for 7 years until we decided to get pregnant almost 2 years ago. When I got pregnant then, I knew. I could feel the pregnancy symptoms pretty early and I just knew. This go round, I have not had any pregnancy symptoms except the missed period. So, the million dollar question, do you think I'm pregnant? Or do you think this could be just a missed period? I have not really changed my habits, but some extra heavy lifting (I don't normally do) and I've been stressed about work (but not overly stressed). What do you think?
2 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoSame question as everyone, do you think I'm pregnant?
So as of right now I am 8 days late for my period. I have had symptoms of a period, but none has come. My periods are always around the same date. If I'm late, it's usually only a couple of days. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. Do you think that since I waited 7 days after my period was due to take the test, that it was a pretty good indication that I'm not pregnant? Or do you think I could be pregnant?
5 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoHow do you fix a ruined reputation?
I got blamed for stealing a girl's money out of her wallet at work. I absolutely had nothing to do with it!!! Ever since, the people at work treat me like I can't be trusted. I was a cashier and now, I'm not allowed at the registers and no one talks to me anymore. I definitely don't like being treated like this, when I didn't do anything wrong!!! I tried to tell the girl that I didn't do it, but she kind of blew me off. I want to fix my rep around that place! How do I do it?
3 AnswersFriends9 years agoSuper broke and getting more broke by the minute, what should I do???!!!?
I am in financial turmoil!!! I just had a baby and now I am about to have to pay for her delivery! (Something with my insurance got messed up) I have a part time job and I go to school full time. What should I do to make some extra cash? I've never held two or more jobs before, how do I do that? Is there someone out there who is excellent at managing time? How do I split my time from work, to school, to taking care of my kid? I'm willing to do anything at this point, except anything morally degrading of course! Any suggestions please?
4 AnswersParenting10 years agoHow to increase amount of breast milk?
I have been strictly pumping since my daughter was born 2 months ago. I have noticed that my breast milk has decreased significantly. At first I was able to get about 2 oz from each breast in a 20 minute pumping session. Now I get maybe an oz if I'm lucky. I was wondering if there is any methods of increasing my milk supply once it has decreased so much? Any help would be great!
8 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years agoWhat does this abbreviation mean on my chart?
So, I'm just about 8 months pregnant and I see the doctor twice a week. Well, on my next appointment it says that I have to do an NST/AFN/OB and then it says 8MC.... What does the 8MC mean? I know that the NST is the non-stress test, the AFN is the amniotic fluid check, and OB means I have to see the doctor. I just don't know what 8 MC stands for. Does anyone know? I can ask the doc next time I go, but was curious to find out beforehand!
2 AnswersPregnancy10 years agoBaby Shower Activities?
I have some games planned for the women and men attending my baby shower, but the little kids that attend may not have enough to keep them occupied. The place where I am having the shower has a tiny playground, so I wanted to plan some activities for the little ones that they might enjoy. The only thing that I can think of is a pinata or something. Does anyone have any ideas? Some fun and easy clean up games?
3 AnswersPregnancy10 years agoAdvantages and disadvantages of an epidural?
I really don't know whether or not to get an epidural. I have been debating. At first, I was positive that I would definitely get an epidural, but I have heard some horror stories! I want to know what your experiences were like with an epidural (or without). What are the advantages and disadvantages?
9 AnswersPregnancy10 years agoWhat is the brand name of these sunflower seed cookies?
I have been craving these sunflower seed cookies that my aunt sends from Colorado. I believe that it is a western U.S. company, but I cannot think of the name and I can't find it on Google (unless I go through a million pages!). Does anyone out there eat these cookies, or any sunflower seed cookies for that matter, and what is the brand name?
2 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoSharp Pains During Pregnancy?
I'm 23 weeks pregnant, and today when I got out of bed, I felt this sharp stabbing pain in my butt, vagina, and lower side of my abdomen. My side is not really sensitive to touch, but I've had the pain for a good 15 minutes. I feel the baby in there and she seems acting normal. I don't want to call the doctor unless it's something I really should worry about. Any other women felt this? What is it?
4 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoIs this normal while pregnant?
Ok, this might be TMI for some of you, but I really am wondering if this is normal. Ok, I'm 22 weeks pregnant and I am having extreme pressure down there. It's like on the inside but where my pelvic bone is. It's not like pressure like the baby is coming, but more like there is something pressing on my bones down there. Is that normal? It hurts when I am getting up from a sitting position or when I climb into bed or when I am walking for more than 2 minutes. (It hurts A LOT) Has any other woman experienced this? Is it just the baby putting extreme pressure on my parts?! lol... Thanks for all the help!

10 AnswersBaby Names1 decade agoAmniocentesis? Is this as painful as I think? Or more?
I have just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Now, the doctor has said that I have to come to his office every two weeks, twice a week, to have amniotic fluid withdrawn. I heard that they inject you with this long hollow needle and it hurts like crazy. I know that some doctors even give local anesthetic and others don't. How painful is this really? Is it like any other shot, or is it just really painful? I would appreciate anyone's experience and what they thought of it. Thanks!
3 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoGestational Diabetes?
I just found out that I have gestational diabetes and I am really worried about my baby. Has anyone else had this? Can you give me some info on what your experience was like, and how did you deal with this emotionally? I am so distraught just thinking that this might really hurt my baby!
5 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago3 Hour Glucose Tolerance Test...Is there an easy way to keep down that glucose drink?
I took the 3 hour Glucose Tolerance Test today and I puked right before my first hour was up. I have a really hard time keeping down that sugary goodness (UGH), on an empty stomach. Actually the drink for my 3 hour test was chilled and much better than the 1 hour, but I couldn't keep it down! Does anyone have any tips for me?
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoWhat are some of your favorite movies?
I've probably seen every movie ever! lol... But I wanna know from you, what your favorite movies are. I just want to see if I can find some movies to watch from your selections! Thanks for taking the time to answer!
19 AnswersMovies1 decade agoWhat are some underrated comedies?
I'm wanting to watch something totally different. I've seen all of Seth Rogen's movies too many times, I have a lot of Sandler's movies, and I have a lot of Will Ferrell's movies too, etc. So I'm looking for something that's totally different and underrated. I don't mind if they're indie comedies or popular ones, just ones that aren't exactly ones that are probably played out! lol... Really anything will help. Actually if you can think of some comedies that are older, but not like 80's or anything. I'm looking for more between early 90's and the 00's. Thanks!
4 AnswersComedy1 decade agoWho is that music group in a new car commercial?! (In the U.S.)?
There is a music group featured in a car commercial that I just cannot think of. The group is made up of one woman and two men (I think). As the commercial continues, they're playing their song. Simultaneously, it shows the people of the music group playing their instruments and the woman singing, but it's all in different windows. Does that make since? If anyone can understand what I'm trying to explain here, do you know what group that is? It's driving me nuts, but I wanted to show my mom that group's YouTube videos! Thanks!
