  • I heard my baby's heartbeat!!!!!!!!?

OK, so yea -- that's not really a question... but how exciting!! It really puts everything into perspective! Truly amazing!! After having a previous miscarriage, I just about cried when I heard it. She didn't let me listen for very long, though.. I'm sure I could have sit there all day -- wow, what a beautiful thing! I can't wait for my first ultrasound now!!

    I'll be 14 weeks on Sept. 20th.

How early were you lucky enough to hear your baby's heartbeat?

  • The urge to pee, but peeing very little?

I'm a little over 13 weeks pregnant & just recently I've had the urge to pee frequently. But while I go often, I'm not peeing very much. Just wondering - is this normal or not? Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but a girl can't help but to be curious.

And no, it does not burn... which would rule out a urinary tract infection.

  • Hearing the heartbeat?

I had a previous miscarriage & this happened at around 7 weeks. The doctor that I talked to said the heartbeart should have been seen on the ultrasound at this time.

I'm now almost 12 weeks with my 2nd attempt at having a child. I'm really worried about going in for my first ultrasound.

How early did you get to SEE your baby's heart beating? How early did you get to HEAR the heartbeat?

I'm sure I'm worrying for nothing.. as this pregnancy seems to be more within the normal ranges of morning sickness & the such, but I can't help it. I'm sure those of you who experienced a miscarriage the first time, were just as worried w/the 2nd pregnancy.

    Thanks, in advance. :)

  • Feedback on these baby names, please.?

I'm pregnant with my first child & am having a hard time deciding on a boy name. I, obviously, don't know the gender yet (I'm only 10 wks). :)

    Our last name is Huestis.

If it's a girl, we will be naming her >>> Leila Monet Huestis. I've had this name chosen since I first thought of having children. I just think it's beautiful... and thankfully, so does my hubby! :)

The name I'm fond of for a boy is, Aidan William... but my hubby doesn't like the name Aidan. Any way I can convince him this is a wonderful name? *haha*

Our first choice, that we both agreed on, was Alexander William. But, sadly his sister's son is named Anthony Alexander & they didn't seem very thrilled about us using that name. Our other thought was Caleb Joseph, but the more I see it, the more I dislike it.

I'm trying to use his father's middle name (William) or my father's middle name (Joseph)... but such is not necessarily set in stone.

Brody & Riley are other names I like, but they don't really seem to go with William or Joseph all that well.

Any ideas would be helpful. I've been racking my brain like crazy. Aidan William is the one name that I truly love & it sucks being stuck on a name & having your partner dislike it. 'Course I still have like 7 months to persuade him! *LOL*
