When I want to copy my picture files to cd I have to use Nero. I want to use windows so that I can use my cdrw again and again. What shall I do to make that option again in Windows? I used to have that and I use it a lot but now it's gone. Please help me set my computer so that I can use that tool again. Thanks!

Windows won't start properly so I asked the yahoo answerers to help me out. They said I should try system restore. Ok now I'm trying system restore in safe mode. I have tried 8 restore point dates but each time it just says Restoration Incomplere. Your system cannot be restored to (the date I selected) then I repeat the process and try another date in the calendar.

I've tried all the restore points available in the calendar no luck. Can I go back even further? It just shows the dates of this month. How can I go back say 2 months before today? Then I tried shutting the computer down and then when it starts up I pressed F10. Now there's a blue window with Please select boot device:

What option should I select and what does it mean? How can I shut down my computer safely?

I want to try system restore on my pc. Windows won't load properly and I have tried starting it in last good configuration that worked and also start windows normally. In safe mode can I do system restore? I am not the administrator so can I still do system restore? Should I just select my name when the welcome to windows page pops up? And also when I do system retore will I loose all my files? Thanks to all who will take time to answer my question.

I was trying the steps presented by the yahoo answerers to go into safe mode because I can't get my computer to start the normal way. When I selected safe mode then selected my name in start up window I don't know how to go back to the welcome window so that I can turn off computer. Now all I see is a black screen with a big cursor and "safe mode" on the lower right and left side of the screen. I just want my computer to start normally like before. I also don't want to loose my files.

I'm trying to start up my computer but Windows XP wont fully start. I have tried safe mode then turning it off and then start again but it just returns to the page where it lets you select the following: safe mode, safe mode with networking, last known good configuraion that worked, start in normal mode. I've also selected last known good configuration and starting windows normally. Nothing worked. Please if anyone out there knows how I could make my computer start please submit your answers. What's that small "thing" that you attach to the hot shoe when no pc sync port is available? It has a cable which you attach to the external flash. Please I just need the name of that. I have that long ago but now I think I have lost it. I know about transmitter and receiver that other people use but this thing still uses cables not radio signal.

Please no quicktime movie file because it is not supported by movie maker. I've tried converting it to an extension file supported by movie maker but the video came out really really bad. For now I use Roxio to just organize my videos but it lacks the special transition effects that I want and very hard to edit sound or put music. Can you recommend something in the $300-$400 class? I need to know how to set up the D40 in the studio. I am currently using a soft box, an umbrella and a backlight. Since the D40 has no pc sync terminal what do you suggest I do about it. Can I do away with cords? I seem to step and trip unto them quite a lot. Thanks!

Just want to know if the Nikon D40 has a pc sync port. I do most of my portraits in the studio. I have used a Nikon EM FM10 and N60. All 3 Nikons do not have pc sync port. I have read reviews about the camera at dpreview.com but I can't seem to find any information if it is available in the D40. Thank you to all who will answer my question.

I am about to buy one of them. Which would you you recommend. Which is better? I do portraits and weddings. For portraits it's 8x10 and for weddings it's 5x7 up to 16x20. I also am fond of vacations and I always carry my camera with me. I also own a couple of film Nikons.

Is the 0.23 second click to capture for the Kodak Z812 IS that kodak claims in their website really a big difference than the kodak P880? I love everything about the P880 except the shutter lag. It's really frustrating. From the first capture to the next it takes about 10 seconds. But the Z812 IS has no hot shoe. Also can you tell me if MPEG 4 movie format is the same as Quicktime? Are they just one and the same?

I attended a 6:30 P.M. wedding last week and took some pictures. There was a light source on a tripod by the official photographer. I noticed that some of the pictures I took was reuined because the lips of some of the ladies were black instead of red or pink when I reviewed it on my camera's monitor. In some shots the flowers were also black. What happened here? What did I do wrong? This is the first time that this happened to my shots. Please help so that I wont do the same thing again. In the meantime what can I do to those ruined shots? I'm using Jasc Painshop Pro 8. Thanks!

The digital camera should use rechargeable li-ion battery pack or a similar product (like the one kodak easy share camera uses) not rechargeable AA batteries becuase they can be expensive if you use the camera very often. It should also use SD memory card or Multimedia card. Also very important for me is a hot shoe for external flash. It can be from 6 MP or higher but not over 10 MP. I am currently looking at Fuji Finepix S700 but am not sure about what kind of battery it uses. I am currently using 2 digital cameras by Kodak easyshare the DX6490 and the P880. The DX6490 is fine for portraits which I do a lot and the P880 for scenic shots. But now I need a camera with shorter lag time in between frames. With the 2 cameras that I use now I have to wait about 10 sec.before shooting the next frame. Sometimes you just cant afford to wait that long. I am not ready to go really pro as in $1,000 up? I can only afford $200-$350. Please help! Thanks..
