The Hitman

So I like this girl, shes very beautiful and very awesome in every way. A few weeks ago I finally told her how I felt and her friend told me that she wants to wait till shes in college to date again. she just got out of a relationship with this other guy and after I told her how I felt she told me that she doesn't really know me very well and she doesn't understand how "I" can like her after only just getting information from facebook. And she figured it would be safe to just be friends. I told her that Thats what I wanted to begin with- I wanted to get to know her better first and whatever happens happens.. but as for the whole college thing she never clarified that. and I'm really starting to think that she is giving me a chance of getting to know her better- and I am seriously starting to think that she might possibly like me back.. so from here what should I do? Fein ignorance? or just go along with it and see where this goes...

btw: she doesn't like to talk on the phone (yeah i know.. weird girl right?)

I met this girl a few months ago @ an event in our school. And then just as I got to know her, the school kicked me out because of not being in the right district. and so then I thought, "well that just sucks because I want to get to know her more." so I started going to a organization that I knew she was involved in and started trying to talk to her; I am an extremely shy guy and so before I went to her organization I started talking to her on facebook. and then I started going to the organization..

she hardly talks to me there but she talks to me a lot on facebook. and some how by an amazing miracle, I finnally got the digits. So how long do I wait, and when I call how long should it be and what do I talk about?

Keep in mind, I do not know if she likes me yet and I'm the type of guy that likes to take it slow, cause for one I have been rejected to many times. but anyways, I am not looking to set up a date, I just mostly want to get to know her more and find out if she likes me. any tips?
