My former step-father used my information to start an account for his mother a few years ago. His mother racks up a little over $600 on the account before leaving it dead and letting it go to collections. Since they used their own phone number and address, I never received a bill or a phone call from collections. I check my credit report and find the amount owed, call them and he comes clean, promising to pay off what is owed then denying everything claiming I agreed to let them use my information to open an account.

Moving on to the present, my former step-father is no where to be found and his mother is experiencing dementia.

I want to pay off the debt so I can have the mark cleared from my report, but I don't have the amount owed to pay it. Is it possible to set up a payment plan or just pay a percentage of the debt? If either of these are possible, can someone answer in detail how to go about or link a reliable site that will explain it.

I've been losing weight, so far with just eating properly and exercise, I've lost 32 pounds. I really want to take swimming lessons, though I have anxiety problems with taking them with a large group as there's always people who want to make fun of the fact that I'm trying to lose weight, calling me derogatory names or making snide remarks.

I've been researching different swim classes in my area and wanted to know what would be a time that most people won't sign up for swim lessons, the range of time being offered from 5:30am to 9pm. Also, would it be better to sign up for private lessons instead of going for group swim lessons?

My brother and I got into a discussion about cartoons that have appeared on the current three major cartoon networks (Disney, Nick and Cartoon Networks). We managed to name a few but were wondering if there were more. Can anyone name some cartoons that have been on all three networks?

I need to know which is better. Setting up a room for my sister, she wants a daybed or futon since the room is kind of small.

Ok, on Internet explorer, my brother clicked something now all of the files we download off the internet goes into the temporary files folder instead of the desktop. Is there anyway I can change it back where the files go onto the desktop again?
