That ginger kid

So I'm going to a guy's birthday celebration this evening, and he's the only person I know who will be there. Since he's the host, I don't expect him to hang around me the whole time. So I'd like to talk to his friends, but I don't know them and I'm socially awkward, so introductions are hard for me. Can you guys give me some advice to break the ice with the guests I don't know?

So I have naturally curly hair, and I ordered this curl styling gel cream from Ouidad. It did a great job shaping my curls, but my hair was still super frizzy. So I'm putting serum on it too. Should I put the serum on first, or does it matter which one goes on first? I just want it to look as nice as possible.

So I'm going to get a C in my anatomy lab. Normally, I wouldn't be too worried, because I do have a high GPA (3.8). However, anatomy class is probably the most important class when applying to nursing school. The drop deadline is this Wednesday. Should I drop and take a W and retake it? Or finish the semester with a C and hope that I still get in? I already took the lecture portion in anatomy and got an B+, so I do have a decent grade in an anatomy class if that makes a difference.

So one of my good friends is getting married in a courthouse, but she's having a party afterwards to celebrate. Since she's having a courthouse wedding, she does not want to make a gift registry. But she's one of my best friends, and I want to give her a fun gift. I was thinking of a date night gift basket for her and her husband. I wanted to give her a gift card to their favorite restaurant, but I don't know what else to put in. I do not want to spend more than $30, because I am a college student.

So....what else can I put in the basket? Thanks in advance!

1. A business I applied to said that they would start reviewing applications on August 8th. About how many business days does it take to review applications?

2. Do you check references while reviewing applications, or do you wait until after the interview?

I ordered a fish dinner Friday night (so it's cooked), but I wanted to eat the other half of it on Monday night, which is tomorrow. However, a lot of people say not to wait more than 48 hours. Do I really need to consume it within 48 hours, or can I wait until 72 hours? All answers appreciated, thanks!

I know you should not wear a solid white or solid black dress to a wedding, but is a black and white dress okay? It's for a formal evening wedding. This is not the exact dress, but the black and white pattern is kind of similar.

My stepbrother is getting married in May. However, we are not close, and I'm not invited to the ceremony. I received an invitation for the ceremony, but was informed that only 25 out of 100 people on the invite list could actually watch the ceremony. But everyone with an invitation was invited to the dinner afterwards. My mom and stepfather want me to attend the dinner and bring a gift. How much should I spend on a wedding gift?

I think the most attractive was Cinderella.

I think the least attractive was Mulan. Her face just looked plain to me. (I know Mulan isn't technically a princess, but Disney likes to lump her in that group)

So, I've noticed my eyebrows are kind of bushy, and don't have much of a shape at all. I have been thinking about getting them waxed professionally, but I want to know if it really makes that much of a difference in appearance.

Do they make that much of a difference in your appearance?

Also what shape should I get? I have kind of a round face, and I want them to look natural.

Last week, I bought a 2003 Chevy Cavalier. I tried reading the manual, and it only told me how to activate the windshield wipers and not the fluid for washing. How do I activate my Windshield Wiping fluid?

For example, If I eat a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread and a side of broccoli, I get hungry 30 minutes later. But if I go to a fast food place and get a burger and small fries, I'm full for 4-5 hours.

Why is this? How can I feel full after eating well?
