I was just helping a coworker jump start her car. I went to open my hood and the release lever was more resistant than usual when I pulled it. I got the hood open fine but when I went to shut it it would not seat all the way like it properly does. It is now just held down by the safety latch. The release lever will not go back to it's original position and I cannot get the hood all the way down. It is extremely cold here today with the temperatures just above 0 degrees F if that has anything to do with it. Anyone know what the problem could be.
