My friend has a fresh rebuilt gm turbo 400 transmission with a shift kit in it, he says it will take about 800hp. What is it worth?

I just got a 1965 Chevy C10 with a 292 and a 3 speed. The motor was running and then it would stall and not fire at all. It turns out there was no spark, then there was and it started again and stalled. It seems to have selective spark. It has a new coil and ignition switch, it seems as though there is no power going to the coil. What is wrong with it? Which part died? What are possible ways to get it running?

I have a 1998 Chevy Silverado extended cab short box with a 5.7Litre 350 with 421,000km. The problem is the truck seems to have a mind of its own, Some days it starts and runs like a champ, but most days it doesn't catch and makes this thumping sound like it's misfiring or running on 2 cylinders but won't actually run. I've replaced the crankshaft position sensor recently, the starter, battery, alternator. The fuel pump was replaced a few years ago. Would this be the coil needing replacement?

I have bought a boat with a full tank of fuel, the boat has sat for a number of years and I have plenty of old gas around that I need to dispose of from other boats that have sat for 10+ years. What is the best way to get rid of all of this old gas? Where could I dispose of it in Ontario?

I have a 1962 5.5hp Johnson that runs perfectly, the only problem is it jumps out of gear, and the lower end froze. Now I've been told it is the clutch dog that is worn out. I've checked the bell crank and it is perfect and I've patched the crack that the ice made when it froze. I have it torn apart and the gears look fine, but I was wondering what other lower units are interchangeable with this motor other than the Evinrude version.
