  • The dumbest Question you will read today!!?

When I was a young man in the 60's I went on a road trip from St.Louis to L.A. At that time almost every town had an attraction or a gimmick to try to get people to stop in there town. "The world's largest ball of twine" or the "world's largest chair, etc.. I was wondering if anyone knows if any of these attractions still exist.

    Thanks, Paul

  • Some questions about Alexander Hamilton.?

1...I read the book on Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow. He states that Hamilton was a pivotal "Founding Father" and that the founding of America would not have been a success without his leadership. By coincidence the next book I read was " Fallen Founder " a biography of Aaron Burr by Nancy Isenberg. She says just the opposite, that Hamilton was an egotistical gossiping blowhard. Does anyone have any thoughts on what the truth is? How much Saint and how much Sinner?

2... Is it true that the requirement that you have to be born in America to become the President was inserted by his rivals for the sole reason of keeping Hamilton from becoming President?

    Thanks

  • Puppy Mill Rescue Dog Advice?

First off I'd like to thank all of the people that took the time to give me advice, tips, and links to websites about caring for puppy mill rescues. Sophie is doing very well except for some minor issues. She is very afraid of walking down stairs. Treats, food, or praise will not get her to walk down a step, also when ever we have people in our house she will walk in a circle. Sometimes short tight circles, other times large circles. If the people stay for any length of time she will then go and hide under my desk until they leave.

I don't know if it matters, but she has recently been to the Vet and she told us that all of her medical procedures have healed and she is in good health. Sophie is approx. 3 years old and is a Sharpei mix ( with what I don't know.)

  • Tips for Puppy mill rescued dog?

I just adopted a Chinese Sharpei mix from the Humane Society. She was rescued from a Puppy mill. She is about 3 years old and they said she has had two litters of puppys. I've never had a Chinese Sharpei or a dog that has spent her entire life in a cage. Does anybody have any tips that would help us ensure the rest of her life is a happy one?

  • A guess as to the breed of a dog?

I met a dog this weekend and I was so busy playing with him I didn't think to ask what breed (s ) he was. He was solid white and had short hair. He was about 3 feet tall and I would guess he weighed about 200 pounds. He was a very friendly and gentle dog and was wondering if anybody had a guess as to his breed?
