This is a QB deep league and very very few QBs are left to pick up. Fortunately, there are 3 that will get to start this weekend due to injuries, otherwise there would be no starters.

I had chosen Seneca Wallace, but it was a bad pickup because it looks as if Hassleback will be returning this weekend.

So, that leaves me with:

Josh Johnson (TB), playing at the Philadelphia Eagles (that doesn't sound healthy, plus he is having a problem looking down field and only checking it down in the flat mostly.

Chad Henne (Mia) playing at home against the NY Jets, who's defense has improved quite a bit this year...but I'm thinking this one is my best bet.

Daunte Culpepper (Det) also playing at home but against the Pittsburgh Steelers (this one could get nasty). However, Pittsburgh will likely dominate causing Detroit to pass the whole game...so that's also a positive.

Which one do you think?

Ok, first of all I am going with AT&T as my carrier.

I need something that I will primarily use as a work phone, utilizing the high-speed internet, and either a touch screen or qwerty keyboard. I wouldn't mind it having a decent camera/video recorder, streaming music, and a few pre-loaded games. I would want to have access to Word/Excel/Powerpoint if possible. I basically want a computer phone, I guess. I don't mind refurbished phones, unless someone has a good reason why I don't want a refurbished one.

Something easy to use, doesn't scratch or break easy, has great battery life.

The catch? Under $100 (with a 2-year contract with AT&T).

On AT&T's website I have narrowed it down to a few that I would like feedback on:

LG Incite (refurbished) $49.99 w/ 2 year contract

Samsung Epix (refurbished) $99.99 w/ 2 year contract {**this phone keeps popping up whenever I change the search criteria for what I'm looking for, touchscreen and qwerty keyboard, etc)

Apple iPhone 8GB (refurbished) $99.99 w/ 2 year contract {**was surprised I could get even a refurbished one this inexpensive...your thoughts?}

Samsung BlackJack II (refurbished) $39.99 w/ 2 year contract {I think it was this phone I was warned to stay away from, but I can't remember for sure).

There are other phones that are not smart-phones but seem to still have everything I need such as Samsung A767 Propel and Pantech Matrix (sliders with qwerty keyboards) and also Samsung Eternity (a touchscreen). But if they have full internet browser access and all sorts of apps, what differentiates these from smartphones?

Anyway, please give me cell phone buying advice, explain what a smartphone is compared to phones like the Samsung Eternity, and/or straight up tell me which one you think I should get.

I have FWD, Chrysler Sebring LXI, automatic. The outer part of my tire on the driver side front wears very quickly. In less than a year, a new tire has no tread on the outer part of the tire and is even showing the wires in the tread. Could it be alignment, under inflation, etc?

I'm trying to fill a table up. It's not for money. It's 10 Frequent Player Points (FPP) to enter. Game starts when there are 500 players. The top couple places get entered into a $1,000,000 guarantee tournament at 2:30pm est on Sunday, September 28. Come, join, hand have some fun.

The depth chart (Yahoo's) has Kobayashi listed as the closer but he hasn't saved a game yet. Jensen Lewis has 7 saves in the past month. I'm confused. Does anyone know who is the closer or what is going on?

McCain's whole 'theme' had been "experience, experience, experience". Then he picks a very inexperienced candidate for VP and they together completely do away with the "experience" theme and start using the Obama campaign's theme "change, change, change". (Theme stealer)

Many women voters have now swayed from Obama to McCain. Is it because Obama didn't pick Clinton as his running mate, and you are angry? Or are you just a victim of the game that McCain is playing, which is to pick a female (not because she is the best candidate, but only) to draw women voters and use the theme "change" as the magic word to sway your decisions?

Maybe she's too caught up in her job. Maybe her husband spends too much time racing snowmobiles. If she doesn't know what her 17 year old daughter is 'busy' 'doing' (unprotected), what does it say about her ability to help run the country when she can't run her family? The problem I've had with recent politicians (from any party) is their ethics and morals. Is she a poor mother? And is this a reflection of how she will assist our country if McCain is elected? (And of course mothers who have had their teenage kids get pregnant will bash this question, as will the women who got pregnant in their teens.)

Do I have to wait for another publisher to pick up the contract and publish it, or is there a "bootleg" copy out there I could buy? I've already checked ebay and amazon. They didn't have it (probably b/c it hasn't been published yet).

If nothing else, I would at least like to read some exceprts from it. I am very interested in the material, from an open mindset. I would at least like to know why the book is so controversial.

If anyone can point me in the direction of a copy, some pages, some lines or anything, that would be great. I found the author, Sherry Jones, had a profile in here and answered a Y! Question asked by another about the book...but I don't know if it was really Sherry Jones or someone who just made a profile in her name.

If you do read this Sherry, I am supporting you in any way I can to get it published and get it out to the public. If you could enlighten me with any content in the book, that would be great. Thank you.

Looks like he's headed for the DL. He has decent numbers this year but would have a lot better if he wouldn't be so fragile. He has missed so many games this year with minor to major injuries. He's taking up a roster spot. I do have Rafael Furcal on my DL spot, who has been there since early in the year. He started off looking like he was going to be the #2 ranked player over all...then tragedy. I don't know when he'll be back either. He just had back surgery.

I could drop Furcal if it's going to be a while for his return and put Jones on the DL...but is he worth it?

Would either of these players have any trade value at all? Someone investing in their future stats?

There are several decent 3Bmen available in FA in my league. I have Aubrey Huff and Nomar Garciappara that can both play third as well.

However, a decent frickin SS in FA is rare, which is why I've kept Furcal on DL all year. Garciappara and slumping Miguel Tejada are my SSs.

Wendell Bryant was a Defensive Tackle drafted 12th overall by the Arizona Cardinals in 2002. He was Big Ten Defensive Lineman two years in a row while playing for U of Wisonsin-Madison. He played for them during the '02, '03, and '04 seasons....but then just disappeared.

Wikipedia has no more information than this. Does anyone know what happened with him?

The reason I was asking is b/c I have been researching a "where-are-they-now" for early 1st round picks over the last 10 years.

I'm estatic! I made "Top Contributor" in Fantasy Sports! I've been working hard on this for many weeks now. I have close to a 60% best answer in Fantasy Sports topics!

This year, however, I am not keeping up with Fantasy Basketball or Hockey. I was focusing my expertise on FFootball. I believe most of the FFootball leagues have wrapped up their postseason this weekend though. Looks like I will have to pickup another fantasy sport to maintain "Top Contributor".

Has been playing well. Won't get 100 yds, but maybe 50 plus 1 TD.

Anthony Gonzalez (Ind)---vs Houston

220 yds receiving w/ 3 TDs in the last 2 games. Can he keep it up? Why, even this week, is his "projection" so low (something like 5 fantasy points)? Is there a reason I shouldn't start him?

Chris Henry (Cin)---vs. Cleveland

Had not been a big part of the O since returning from suspension. His 1st game back was good, but after that...nothing. He snuck a decent game in on me last week, and I didn't start him. Plays a vulnerable Cleveland this week.

Roddy White (Atl)--- @ Arizona

Had been playing well for the last few weeks...until last week. Fortunately I benched him and started Gonzalez in his place, at the last minute, and it paid off big, 'cuz White did nothing. Weak AZ pass D this week, but Atlanta sucks.

I only have David Garrard (Jax) who plays @ Pittsburgh. Garrard is as consistent as it gets when it comes to fantasy points in the last 4 weeks (scoring between 17fp and 21fp in each game).

However, he plays Pittsburgh @ Pittsburgh (who is ranked 2nd in pass yards allowed and 6th in passing TDs allowed).

I could......pick up (from free agency) Sage Rosenfels who is starting at home (for an injured Schaub). He faces a Denver D, who does rank 7th in pass yards allowed, but gives up an average QB rating of 88.2.

Surprisingly, Rosenfels has a QB rating of 91.3 with 11 TDs in 6 games (and 7 picks). Was checking out his situational stats...Dude has a 120.9 QB rating in the 4th quarter, with 9 of his 11 TDs this year coming in the 4th quarter as well.

Final note....I also have Andre Johnson starting that week. Would that be putting me at risk twice by picking up Rosenfels and they both have a bad game?

I have 1 RB spot I need filled. I currently have Fred Taylor (Jax) vs. Carolina in that spot, but I'm a little concerned with starting him. Carolina shut down the 49ers last week.

I have Deshaun "haven't done anything all year" Foster (Car) @ Jacksonville, Ron "will get shut down by Tampa's Defense" Dayne (Hou) vs. Tampa Bay, & Reuben "will back up Jacobs" Droughns (NYG) @ Philadelphia on my bench.

Slim pickin's in free agency, too. Chatman (Mia @ Buffalo) is available, but he is Questionable and a game-time decision. So he would be a risky pick-up. Gado & Cobbs (Mia) are also available.

Aaron Stecker (NO) will get the start @. Atlanta, and he is available, but his #s don't look so good. Not sure how Atlanta is @ run D.

Lynch (Buf) may not start (is a game-time decision), and Fred Jackson is available if he doesn't vs. Miami.

So, I'm in a pickle. What would you do? I need a big game. If I win, I'm in the playoffs. If I lose, I'm out. Peterson only got me 3pts Thurs.
