Is drinking two gallons of whole milk every three days healthy for me?
I'm 6'2", about 165 to 170. I'm of average fitness, and I'm an excercise-induced asthmatic (That is to say, I have no problem doing anything in short bursts, like I can play ultimate frisbee for an hour or so and not have asthma related complications, but just plain old running for five minutes has me coughing for about an hour). I drink about two gallons of whole milk (And have been for a couple years now) every three days. It's one of the major sources of fluids I take in, and I get protein, vegetables, and fruit outside of it. All in all I have experienced no real health complications that I can tie to it (aside from milk breath ;) ), but I was wondering if there was anything I should be wary of.
I was also curious as to whether there's a big difference between non-rbst treated milk and plain old milk, for someone who's drinking a lot of it.
