Hey there, I have been on medical marijuana since 18, im 23 now. My crime has nothing to do with drugs and my probation violation has nothing to do with drugs. I told my Probation officer at the very begging when I went on probation that I have my card and he said it was cool because my charges has nothing to do with drugs. The courts are not forcing me to to take NA or AA meetings. He took copies of my rec and state ID. I got arrested for a probation violation, poss of a stun gun, and did 33 days at the county jail. The Da wanted to charge me with marijuana but the judge said no because my lawyer presented the proper paper work When I got released my lawyer told me to go to the probation office. I got a new po, I didn't know until I went to the probation office and she said I cant smoke and have to attend Na AA meetings and will be drug tested and that my current card is invalid and said I have to get a county card. My lawyer said that SB 420 allows any card in California to be legal by a physician that practices medical marijuana. People vs. Tilehkooh says I can smoke on probation and any drug test that come positive with THC will be excluded. Would you smoke in my situation? I have graduated with my AA on it, and I'm going to graduated with my BA on it. I have no idea what to do. Let me know what I should do. I have mailed the Items, copies of My Rec, and State ID, People Vs. Tilehkooh, SB 420 and Health and safety codes that associate with marijuana to her. Real serious answers please. I dont want to hear about how Marijuana is ruing peoples lives because its not. MEdical MArijuana is legal in the state of CA. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hear answers.

I've been on Medical Marijuana since I've been 18, 23 now and on probation. Last year I was put on 3 years of Felony probation for a crime isn't related to any drug. I told my probation officer that I am a medical marijuana patient since I was 18 and he said OK because my case isn't drug related. ALmost a year later, I borrowed my fathers car and I was pulled over, for not having a license plate on the front bumper, and arrested for possession with a stun gun and upon search and accordance with prop 215, I told him that I had MJ and they found my medical marijuana. I wen to jail for a probation Violation for 33 days, When I was in custody, I went to court and the Da wanted to charge me with marijuana. The Judge dismissed the DA charge b/c I had the proper paperwork. I was released on the 33rd day, a thursday and I went to the probation office on the following monday, and didn't know that I was given a new probation officer, and she said I cant smoke anymore . She told me that I was to be drug tested and go NA and AA meetings . She says that I have to go to the county building and get my medical card and go in front of the judge and tell him I need medical marijuana, when I have been getting my medical card from a licensed physician in accordance with SB 420 . I'm considering to file the form for the Probation Modification hearing. I have talked to some MMJ lawyers and they have told me that she is incorrect and wrong for telling me to go to NA AA meetings. I dont mind to drug test as long as they exempt THC that they find. What should I do? Has anybody gone through this?

I got a wobbler felony for a non violent crime meaning it will drop to a misdemeanor after probation ends. It will show up as a misdemeanor when they do a background check according to my lawyer. Can I join any type of Law enforcement, Sheriffs, CHP, Regular police, US Marshals, etc. I have my BA, does that help.? Can I join the military and then be a LEO? Thank you for serious answers

What if you are hurting and on Medical Marijuana and have your prop 215 card and doc recommendation and everything and you get into a little trouble on get on probation and get drug tested?

This is for the prop 215 card holders, not for people who are hatin and cant smoke and will say stupid sh*t, what do you think about the ban? Hello my g/f is in grad school and it really stresses her out, she is up almost till 2 in the morning doing hw and whatnot and has to wake up at 6 630.
