  • Is this a greyhound/aussie mix?

The shelter says border collie mix, but I don't really see that. I'm considering adopting this dog, and am just curious about the breeds.

  • Does owner/agent have to be present for an apartment showing?

Here's the deal: The rental company recently sent someone to our apartment and expected us to let him in and show him around. Our contract states that we must allow showings at any time, since the property is for sale (which they only told us on the day we moved in, although it had been for sale for a at least a month), but doesn't state whether or not the owner/agent has to be present. Do we have to let a lone stranger into our home? Do we have to do the showing for them? I know it seems a little paranoid, but my roommate and I are both physically small women, and it makes us uncomfortable to let in anyone, as long as they say they are prospective buyers. The company also gave us less than 24hrs notice, and only informed one of us, which is legal, but makes the situation worse. We live in Idaho, if that makes any difference. Either way, we won't be renting from this place again, they are apparently known for being the slumlords of this area. I know it is a little silly to ask for legal information online, but I couldn't find any state or federal laws pertaining to this situation.

  • How much food do the Kong Wobblers hold?

I was considering buying one, but I'm not sure which size to get. On Amazon.com it says that there are two sizes. Small holds 1/2 cup (for dogs up to 25lbs) and large holds 1 cup(dogs over 25lbs). BUT, later in the description it says that the Wobbler can be filled up to two cups(presumably the larger size), so what is the maximum fill of the small size. I've got a 13-14lb rat terrier who eats between 3/4 and a cup of food, so which size does he need? I'm pretty sure the smaller one's the way to go, but I'm not sure.

  • Are there any Decker Terrier breeders near Northern Idaho?

I've been thinking of getting a Decker terrier, but there aren't many breeders. I know there are some in western Washington and some in Oregon, but that's a little far to drive just to look at a possible dog. Honestly, I'm not expecting anyone to know of one, but I can hope can't I? And, yes I should look at shelter dogs, but in this area they are almost all pitbulls or labs, neither of which would fit me. And I've been watching the shelters for a couple years now, and nothing's really jumped out at me.
