I’m a big time Hokies Fan. I go to every home game and paint myself up as well. I’m also a very big NASCAR fan. Kasey Kahne #9 is my favorite driver. Hopefully he’ll be back to his old self next season and start getting some wins.

  • how long do I slow cook pork ribs in the oven?

I've got 3lbs of pork loin back ribs and I want to slow cook em in the oven for hours and hours but don't want to screw it up. I baked beef ribs at 225 for 8hours and they fell off the bone beautifully, how long/what temp should the pork ribs go for?

I'm not looking for recipes, just the temp/time to cook them.

    Thanks

  • at 250 how long do I slow cook beef ribs?

Ribs are already in, I don't need any recipes, I just need to know how long you think these should take at 250 degrees. I didn't boil them or anything, just chucked em straight in.

  • Good country song about friendship and drinking?

I'm making a hilarious slide show for my friend about our best friendship and how great we are at drinking and having fun. Something up beat that you think will add to the hilarity of this will be much appreciated.

  • I need a delicious vegan dinner recipe that even regular folks can enjoy?

    Hello folks,

I offered to make the girl dinner tonight and while making this proposition the fact that she's a vegan did not cross my mind. Anyone out there have a good vegan dinner recipe that even carnivorous folks such as myself would enjoy?

Also, where do you get vegan ingredients? As you can tell I know nothing about this lifestyle, can you get the stuff at regular stores (ie giant, safeway) or do I need to go fancy and shop at Whole Foods?

  • Women - I need some upbeat country songs...?

Buddy of mine is hosting a party bus to the Kenny Chesney concert this weekend and needs to make an upbeat country mix. The bus is nothing but women, so if you ladies could name all those great country tunes that get you riled up it'd be helpful.

    Thanks.

  • What are some good charitable events to take part in?

I'm looking to take part in some charitable events, ie: Relay for Life, Tour de Cure (diabetes), etc, but I can't think of any other than those two, and I'd like to do more. Preferably something that involves running or biking or any other physical exercise, walking is fine too but not nearly as exciting. I don't want to do something where I just donate money and that's it.

  • Question about attending a race?

I'm heading to the Nationwide race tonight in Richmond, first race I've ever been to, couple questions:

    1. Bringing beer in - what's the rule on this? Throw it in a small cooler that fits under your seat or something like that?

    2. Parking - I watch the Nationwide races on tv and it looks like there's no one there, does that mean there's parking available?

    3. Anything else I need to know? Will I lose my hearing;-)

  • What is the difference between these 2 degrees?

I'm currently at a community college and planning on transferring to a 4-year college. I'm not sure which program to go with because I don't know the difference.

Business Management: Associate of Applied Science Degree

Business Administration: Associate of Science Degree

As it stands I could go eitherway right now but my next semester would solidify me in one of them and I just don't know what to do.

    Thanks

  • Question for those of you who have built your own cornhole game?

What do you recommend, in term of the backing, do you recommend I make mine with the solid back/riser, or make mine with the legs that I can fold under the board when not in use? I’ve got the boards made up to that point, the directions said I can go either way, but that the solid back made the boards last longer. Is it really much different? I’d like to go with the legs for storage purposes, but I want to make sure they’ll last.

  • NASCAR Fans in Ohio, near Cedar Point/Sandusky?

Any of you familiar with a store in Sandusky, OH that sells NASCAR gear? I was there over the summer and came across this little place, it was called Woody and Bo's or Bo and Woody's. They sold NASCAR stuff and OHIO State & Michigan gear.

If any of you know that store's name and know if they have a website or anything, it'd be much appreciated if you could let me know.

    Thanks.

My Pop was down there, apparently he got a lot of attention in his 1986 Buick Station wagon and his Stars and Bars flag. I know this isn't NASCAR, but it's RACING!

  • Just saw on ESPN that Kasey inked Bud! Well done!?

It went across the bottom line, Budweiser will sponsor Kasey Kahne in the #9 Dodge next season! Good Stuff Kasey! Hopefully that money will help…

Let me save those of you who will say it the time…

“Kasey doesn’t look old enough to drink beer.”

Since I’ve already said it, lets avoid the 900 responses that will….

    GO KAHNE!
