I was laid off from my job in October, and a week later found out I was pregnant. I applied for and have been receiving unemployment benefits since, which is helpful. However, there is a question on the forms I send in asking if I was unable to work for any days out of the week. If I put "yes," then I won't get my check, two weeks later I'll have a phone intereview and depending on how the person handles the situation I may or may not resume getting my checks a week or so later.

My question is this- is there anything else that I'm eligible for? I don't believe I can get disability of any kind unless my doc puts me on bed rest, and I don't qualify for any paid family leave since I'm not working right now. I've done tons of searches online and have come up empty handed with every search. I'm in california and am currently 24 weeks along, due at the end of june. Any nudges in the right direction would be immensly appreciated. Thanks.

Okay. I know everyone is tired of questions on these books, but this is actually bothering me cause I can't figure it out. On page 724 (the last page of chapter 37) everyone is facing the volturri, ready to fight. The group is saying their goodbyes, hugging and kissing and such. Then, "I didn't see all the expressions of love and pain. I was distracted by a sudden fluttering pressure against the outside of my shield. i couldn't tell where it came from, but it felt like it was directed at the edges of our group, Shiobhand and Liam particularly. The pressure did no damage, and then it was gone. There was no change in the silent, still forms of the counseling ancients. But perhaps there was some signal I'd missed. "Get ready," I whispered to the others. "It's starting." "

So, what is the deal with the pressure on her shield? I thought at first that maybe Siobhan and Liam snuck off and left, but after everything they are there, congratulating everyone and whatnot. The first sentence of the next chapter has Edward telling Bella that chelsea is trying to break their bindings but can't find them. Is this what the pressure was? Bella felt it before she had fully closed her shield. I'm just lost and would like other people's opinions. Maybe you get it. Lol.

On Thursday 10/16 I was left a voice mail message by my employer telling me that "due to the economy we're gonna have to let you go. Its just not working out." I was under the impression that an employee had to be fired in person. I'm also now hearing that an employee has to be on the clock before being fired, and the final paycheck needs to be immediately presented (I got mine 30 hours later).

I know that the reason I've been fired is because I clash with the owners of the business I worked for. All the other employees were shocked when I told them the news.

I have searched online and used a million different keywords but I'm having trouble finding this information myself so any help would be appreciated.

I'm asking for any info that might be different. For example- in CA, pedestrians have the right-of-way when it comes to crossing the street, in Oregon, a pedestrian does not have the right-of-way, the car does.

I know its silly, but I don't want to go to a different state being ignorant. I can't seem to find specifics online, so if there is anyone who lives in Texas that can help, or someone who has lived in both places or even just visited either place and can give me some insight to their experiences it'd be super helpful. I'm a worrier and want to make sure I'm being respectful.

I'm playing 06 GM Mode and controlling Raw and SD. 07 has a glitch where if you play a match, sometimes it says it was never played when you get back to the match card menu from having just played the match. I have 08, and was wondering if I had a multi tap and 3 controllers if I could control all 3 brands. Also, how is SvR 08 on the PS2? (I have it for the 360)

My two best friends are my bridesmaids. They both accepted when I asked, which was 3 months after getting engaged and choosing a date and all. Now, one of them has suddenly decided to go to school on the other side of the country and school ends two weeks after my wedding. She is wanting to find a flight from new york to california on friday night, my wedding is saturday, then she wants to fly back sunday so she doesn't miss school. She's asking me to find her a flight, so I have that added work on top of regular planning already in effect, AND, she actually asked me to change the date to a later time so she could make it. So, she's not one hundred percent sure she's gonna make it, but hasn't said anything to me about not being part of the wedding. She already has her dress, and is leaving in two weeks. I'm trying really hard to not be too mad, and I support her going to school and all, but she's put me in a weird situation. What should I do or how should I handle this?
