Ok, so here is the thing; It is a LETTER, so I assume I can't include references.

But this particular school does not ask for a research proposal, only a 1200 WORD motivation letter, including my research interests for PhD.

I have various interests, I am including all of them. Since I am not expected to start my actual research or find a supervisor during the first 2 years anyway.

But how do I mention my interests, without saying something like: "Past researchers have focused on X, I want to focus on Y" or "So far research has revealed X, I want to research Y"

Do sentences like that need references in the motivation letter? I normally would include a reference in a proposal, but now I just don't know..

There was actually no water damage, water spilled near the phone so I figured in case some did go, although everything was working great, I will put it in rice for a while.

But there is a rice stuck in the slot now, I tried hoover, needle ... None work. i think I pushed it back even more instead.

Is there any other solution?
