I have a pimple right beside the opening of my mouth. It's really bothering me, as not only does it look horrible, it hurts like hell!

It's swollen and although the head is small, it's sorta hard all around it. It had a whitehead on it, and I squeezed it about 3 different times already, with a small amount of pus coming out each time. I've been applying cold compresses to it, and putting some pimple clearing stuff on it (saliclyc acid gel-dermatologica). Anyone had one of these before? Did it take a long time to go, I'm hoping within 24 hours...

Anyone got any advice or remedies? All help would be appreciated!

My children are much too young for this question but my friends and I were discussing our upbringing in relation to alcohol.

I was raised in a household where my parents did socially drink. I was allowed to try alcohol at family events from around 13/14 (nothing strong, just the odd alcopop). When I was about 15/16 I started drinking with my friends, while my parents were initially unaware when I started going out clubbing at 16/17 they always knew where I was and that I was drinking.

Some of my friends were not allowed to drink until they were legal, but that didn't stop them doing it underage, just stopped them telling the truth to their parents about where they were/ what they were doing.

Basically do you/will you let your child drink alcohol before the legal age? Do you think it makes a difference?

So I have suggested a few questions quite a while back, and after 3 days of no votes, they each got 5-20 votes a piece and then stopped. That was two days ago, still no more votes, and no decisions one way or the other.

So how much longer wil this take? Anyone know?
