3 yrs ago my husband didnt make that much, due to lack of rain in his field of work, when we filled our taxes, we got a lot back for the first time. the last year he made his normal pay, and we didnt get all of our money back that he paid in(higher bracet, they said). i dont think its fair that people get a LOT of money plus what they paid in, when they dont make crap and they ones that work their butt off has to still pay more when they file. im talking about people who are on public assistance, what about us?, why should we have to support the poor, lazy ones!! i dont think its fair!!

im reading questions on here, and i cant believe how shallow women are to allow their husband to go out without them. is it just me, or does anyone agree with me that it shouldnt happen in the first place??!! if my husband ever mentioned doing anything without me, he knows he will be seeing divorce papers!!! we have been married for 15yrs.

this has been in my family for generations. its a true southern(texas) dressing. i dont measure, so im just listing it .

3 stalks of celery, one bell pepper, and one onion, broken up in large pieces. put that in a pot with the giblets and turkey neck from your turkey and fill with water. boil for about an hour. i bake my cornbread the day before so it can dry out(4 packages of favorite cornbread. once the veggies are done. put cornbread and 2 pieces of toast in a very large bowl and crumble fine. chop the veggies fine and add them to the cornbread, and add all the broth, taken out the giblets(you can add those of you want). salt and pepper and thats it. bake for about an hour. best dressing ever!!!!

i was just wondering if im the only homemaker on here that likes to do the whole dinner and host at my own house..... im making turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, yams, green bean casserole, baked beans, rolls, 2 pecan pies, and a chocolate dessert. thanks for sharing....

How long have you been married for?

we adopted a yorkie mix a month ago. she's doing great with the kids, however, when we go pick up the mop/broom to clean, she runs like crazy ducking,tail between legs and whinning, thinking we are gonna abuse her. we put it down and comfort her and tell her that we're not gonna hurt her, she then stops and gets happy, same as for the fly swatter to swat flies, dont even think about trying to kill a fly around herm she goes crazy. she's 2yrs ago. when will she know we're not gonna hurt her? thanks......new dog owners
