Where can I find the copyright to old movies?
Nothing really well known, but like old anti-drug shorts and things. Is there a website that lists what is in the public domain or who owns it?
1 AnswerOther - Visual Arts9 years agoHow can you find out when a particular website started?
Like if I wanted to find out when a domain name was registered or when the site first went up. Is there an online database or something for that?
2 AnswersOther - Internet9 years agoHow do Aussies say "a wad of money?"?
It's for an article thing, I'm looking for a slangy aussie expression. Preferably one specific to coins, if that happens.
Like when something's cheap, in the US we'd say "That's not much scratch at all" or something.
Thanks.

3 AnswersYahoo Answers9 years agoHow often do you get reported?
I've gotten a couple violations for smarting off. It's not my fault, people sometimes ask stupid questions.
So how often do you give joke answers and get reported?

...and sometimes see things but only when I'm sleeping. And don't say I was dreaming because that's not it.
5 AnswersMental Health10 years agoLaptop screen not working again...?
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Usually it will continue to work unless I shut down and restart. If hibernating it will usually come up eventually but doesn't do the "resuming windows" thing.
Hooking up an external monitor works, but is kinda awkward.
Suggestions?

It does sometimes, but whenever the computer gets shut down it won't for awhile. External monitor works when connected.
1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoHP MediaSmart Webcam not working?
The shortcut I used for making quick videos disappeared awhile back and I can't get back to it. When I try opening the MediaSmart menu it takes me to the Media Player instead.
The computer is a Pavilion dv4.
The camera still works, I just prefer the simple interface of the MediaSmart.
1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoDo I have to replace the battery cables altogether?
The clamps on my battery cables are extremly old and won't even hold tight anymore. There are several wires leading to them, and I don't want to have to change all that. Both the mechanic I saw when getting an oil change and the guy at the auto parts store said I didn't have to, just to cut the old clamps off and feed the wire through the new clamps.
This is on a 1996 plymouth neon, top post battery. The problem actually is that there are two cables running into the negative clamp, but the new one is not the same configuration, having a place for only one wire.
