Can someone tell me ....

I appreceiate that the value of the inventory is supposed to roll over from to month but from where is the value of the inventory derived from? Is it, for example, its supposed retail value?

Is this correct in a general, basic sense.

Opening stock = unsold stock on hand for the period

Purchases = all the stock you added in the period

Closing Stock = what was left after you subtracted the sales made from the opening stock + purchases.

I have an intermittent problem when browsing on the internet. I go to the main google home page and I cant type in the box. Further if I manage to get it to do that and it brings up search results I click on a hyperlink and the screen immediately scrolls to the top and does not open the link. WTF Big time. I have run numerous scans - I have changed mouses, I have disabled the touchpad - nothing works. Help.

What are "high level administrative support skills" when you are talking about secretarial work?

I have disabled Activex Filtering (tick next to item) in Internet Explorer but I still have a lot of ads running. When I hover over them they seem to be provided by people like "adchoices" and "adsense". Its driving me nuts. They are the little ads that are mostly static but have a moving image in them - if you know what I mean. What do I need to do to stop them because I am looking to shut down unnecessary data usage

Is dumping grass clippings around the bottom of a tree up agains the trunk a good idea. Wont it kill the tree?

When I phone up employers and ask about jobs I usually just get referred to the HR department or then told to put a resume on a job site which of course is a complete waste of my time. Does anyone have any strategies to get past this please to actual department managers?

OK well I took some photos of some grey lead drawings. The paper came out grey in the photo when it should be white. I have since switched to scanning but these drawings are no longer in my possession and Im trying to salvage the photos which are unusable. How would you fix this issue in Gimp? If I white balance its still very grey. If I do a basic fiddle with the curves then I end up with a white page and no detail in the drawing...any tips?

I have a laptop with an internal Toshiba software modem. The laptop also has a button which I can switch to "wireless" and a little light blinks when I do. I have a pre-paid broadband internet USB stick. I have a PS3. Now can someone pleeeeeeeeeeze explain how I can connect my PS3 to the internet via my laptop. I dont plan to game online - I just want to access the Playstation shop and internet on my TV. It would be nice to be able to access all the music on my laptop through the PS3 too but I have had no success doing this. Thanks for the help.
