Chicago and New York are prime examples of cities that have a year-round skyscraper lighting system that goes on. Are there restrictions for San Francisco? I know they have very strict building zoning and height laws; but do these also effect decorative night lighting?

I want to convert my aquarium into a cichlid tank and currently have these tropical fish:

Cremecide molly

Two red tail tinfoil barbs

African featherfin catfish (synodontis epterus)

Red tail shark

Blue gourami

Two turquoise rainbowfish

Two angelicus botia

It's a 55 gallon by the way. Which would survive with african cichlids?

Don't criticize me for only getting one. I've done my research and one will be fine in my 55 gallon.

How likely the barb be nippy? There are a couple guppies, rainbows and mostly bottom dwellers, will they be alright? What is the max size that it may get? Thanks!
