Well I bought my boat a 1986 Charger with a 1985 Mariner 150HP. The motor has good compression, recent carb rebuild, and new starter.

The only thing I could possibly think is the fuel mixture is mixed way to rich. The previous owner said he used 4 ounces to a gallon. The motor is supposed to be ran 50:1. I finally got it to fire up and idle good and it was smoking like crazy from the mixture. Also when i couldn't get it to fire up it would leak fuel out of the front of the motor I think it's becaise its feeding fuel but not starting.

Any tips and advice? Add more gas? Run it leaner?

On my 1986 charger bass boat it has a 1986 mariner 150, when I trim the motor up any position other than down, the motor over a span of about 4 minutes will slowly come down to the lowest point. It trims up just fine and down as well. There is no sign of any fluid leaking out of the hydraulic pumps. The last owner said something like, pressure is bypassing an o-ring. I have no idea what he was saying. Anyways, it trims up fine just won't stay up. Help please

I sold my bass boat Lastnight and I found another one I want to buy. It's a 1986 Charger 17'6 bass boat with a 150hp Mariner 2 stroke outboard. How fast do you think it'll run? The man says it runs good and it has brand new carpet, and a new model Minn Kota 80Lb thrust. All the gauges, lights, and electrical work. Has 2 battaries so I'll need to buy one more deep cycle, the 2 It has are 3 months old. It's got tilt and trim (electric) and the carbs were rebuilt 8 months ago. Trailer has new tires, and the lights work. He's wiling to sell it to me for $2000 cash. Has clean titles on boat and motor and the tags on boat and trailer are good until 2015. He told me that I can test drive it at the lake before I buy it to insure that I am pleased with it.

So... Do you think it's a good deal? And how fast do you think it will run?

Hello. In my 2004 Nissan Titan crew cab, my Passanger side rear window, I rolled it all the way down and now it's not coming back up, when I do hit the button to make it go up it goes about 1 centimeter (not enough to grab with anything) and stops again and will roll down 1 cm. here's the catch. I have to drive 4 hours home tomorrow. What could be the issue and how could I fix it myself?

My 1978 ranger bass boat with a 1978 Johnson 115 has been running rough and hasn't been idling that well on the last trip. The gas is fresh, and the plugs are fairly new. It's a 2 stroke that runs 50:1 ratio and I do so as required. I was wondering if I should Seafoam it and get any input on Seafoam. I can pull my gas line off the tank and run a gallon of mixed 2 stroke gas and 1.5 ounces of Seafoam through it but I wanna know your experience with this stuff. What are some tips you might have.

I have a 1956 Belgium Auto 5, no vent rail just a regular barrel, stock and forend are in good shape, very minimal pitting on the rust, I've had the internals serviced and completely cleaned from my local gun smith, the action is super smooth, the midsection had very minimal rust, no pitting at all and since I've owned it (2 years) I've put around 800 rounds through it and it's been flawless, and after every use I've cleaned it with Hoppes and swabbed the barrel.

What would you pay?

I have a 2004 Nissan Titan and today I noticed a foul smell that wasn't too bad but i garuntee it's starting to mildew under the carpet, but any whoo, the whole floor is completely soaked, I'm not sure an AC would soak it that much, but I have been driving on and off all day and the driver side is dry as can be. Could my AC be dropping that much water? And if so how could I fix this issue at home if that is the case.

I have a 1978 Ranger Aztec with a 1978 Johnson 115 that's the original motor. Lately it's been performing flawlessly, the other day while loading it up before I put the transom saver on I trimmed it up and apparently to far and to much and I couldn't get it to go back down. After it hit the full trim upwards it didn't budge down a bit. Not a hair! I had my buddy trim down and I'd pull down on the motor with my body weight and it still would not budge a millimeter. Now today I filled up the trim and tilt fluid reservoir and charged the battery fully and still won't go down, nothing's changed. The trim motor still sounds very strong and it doesn't sound any different. Won't trim up or down anymore. Any advice that y'all could give me that I could possibly try to fix it at home instead of taking it to a marine mechanic? Thanks people!

I have a 1978 ranger bass boat with a 115 Johnson. I noticed that when I use the trim it makes the whining noise for about 2 seconds before it actually moves the motor up or down. What should I do? It's hydraulic and I see the resivour for fluid to be added. Should I add more fluid? It seems that it's trying to build pressure before the motor will move either up or down. Or is this just a tale-tale sign that my tilt and trim is going out? It sounds strong and when it moves the engine it kinda jolts up and is not one smooth motion. What do you think is the issue?

I noticed my motor seemed to be trimmed up to high even when it was all the way down, so today I saw underneath the motor there is a big pin in place of a hole that stops the motor from going down anymore, and there are 5 more holes that gradually go up and one more that's lower than where the pin is placed, I moved it to the lowest one, will this make it get on plane quicker?

I have a 1978 Ranger bass boat and I discovered today when I was testing my bow and stern lights in and when I stuck them both in neither of them turned on which is normal because the switch was off, now when I turned the switch on they both lit up which is good now when I turned the switch off the bow light went off but the stern light stayed on and won't go off. Is it getting constant power and will it drain my battery?

*TEXAS* So today I bought a 1978 Ranger bass boat, with a trailer, and a 115HP Johnson outboard. He handed me the title in which he had for the boat and motor. He said it was an "open" title, he never switched it to his name it was his friends boat and he just never signed the boat in his name. On the title info it has the old owners (his friend) name printed, but no date or any other info.

Boat, trailer, and motor are all expired in registration. How do I get the titles in my name and register it in my name soon?

I just bought my 50" Cree led light bar and it's getting mounted on my roof. Mainly I bought it to use for off road purposes only and at the deer lease when checking feeders at night. Well on the other hand I'll be completley honest. A lot of kids around town about my age 16-17 always use their brights when driving and I'll flash my high beams and still they won't turn theirs off to low beams. I drive a lifted 02 avalanche that's lifted 6" and on 35"a so when I high beam them it's very noticeable. Now that I have the light bar that is extremely bright would it be over the edge to flash it whenever they don't turn their high beams off? It's the most irritating thing when someone leaves their brights on when coming head on towards traffic. What would you do?

I bought a used kicker L5 subwoofer the other day and hooked it up to my Kicker 400.1 Mono block amp and it started cutting out of bass within 5 min and this was while driving, in about 10min it started to smoke from the subwoofer and in the first hit it has a strong electrical smell and the wires are very hot and so is my amp. I thought it was blown or just messed up but I hooked it up to my buddies 1500w hifonics and it was flawless, no more smell or cutting out. what is the ohms of my sub so I know what kind of amp to get. it came with no manual or info and I cant tell what ohms it is online. its a 12'' and the newer model its black, not silver.

Also what could be making it smoke in my truck or cut out? not enough power?

I always stay at my buddies house on the weekends and even some school nights we do bro stuff and we work on cars and ride dirt bikes but the other night was kinda weird, we were in bed (yes in the same bed) and I was playing on my phone and he bumpedhis hand into my dick and I said "did you really just touch my dick?" And he said well you let it happen and we went about our business and a couple minutes go by and he touches my dick again and this time I just told him to knock it off and don't do it again. My papaws buddy let's us pigeon hunt in his Non-Gated pasture, I just turned 16 and would like to spend some time out there. Am I legal to hunt alone? I have a drivers license, hunting license and a hunters safety. Pigeons have no season. Please let me know. Thank you.

should I get 6000K or 8000K or 10000K?? I drive a lifted 02" Avalanche and would like a sick look and partially practical for vision. Want a bluish tint to my lights and I'm running 35w.

I have 2 kicker 10 comps and it only hits hard when I use my phone to the AUX but when I use my iPod it sounds quiet and not much bass. What could be the problem?
