When I was younger living in Manhattan I told by dark-skinned puertoricans and blacks that i was ugly because of my lips and nose, but when I was in Europe I got hit on a lot. Is America the only place where the standards of beauty are narrow?

I am of direct Nigerian ancestry, both parents are from Nigeria and to the best of my knowledge not of mixed race, which is in the western part of Africa. I bought a MacBook in December of 2006 and just recently the LCD screen has been damaged, a blue cable at the right of LCD frame was detached. Now it is only displaying half the screen and lines and flickered keeps running across the half that works. I was wondering whether to buy a used macbook to replace it or buy a single LCD screen to replace it. If I buy the LCD, I don't know if it would work in my old damaged framing. HELP!!!
