  • How to make hair long/flexible/soft?

(I'm a guy btw)What I mean by the question is bc my hair has grown long but it just grows out, like in front of my face. Like I can't push my hair back even though it's long. I can brush it to the side a bit but it always goes back. So my question is how can I make it so my hair can be pushed back?

  • Can two male cockatiel get along?

I've has my cockatiel for about three years. Since then he's always had his own cage(30x18x36). Yesterday I found another male cockatiel in my backyard and unless his owners are looking for him, I'm most likely going to take him in. Right now I have them in separate cages next to each other but the new one's cage is very small so I'm hoping they could share a cage. They're roughly the same size so I'm assuming the new one is an adult as well. Thank you.

They don't seek aggressive to one another at the moment but more curious/cautious than anything.

  • Iphone 4 stuck on black screen?

Well I locked my phone and when I went to bring it back it turned out that it ended up staying on a black screen. iTunes still recognizes it but I can't get anything to show. It was on near full battery when it went and I can't use the lock button (it's been stuck for a while). What can I do to fix this?

Also my phone is jailbroken and I'd rather not lose my jailbreak so what can I do to get my phone to work again without losing the jailbreak.

    Thanks!

  • Pokemon X update and memory?

I haven't played Pokemon X in a while and it says I need to update it. I downloaded the game from the eshop so I went there to update but then it says I don't have enough memory to download it. I went to data management to see what I can get rid of but all I have is Pokemon X. Is the update suppose to get rid of the original game or what am I suppose to do? Thanks!

  • Can I get admitted to a UC if...?

I want to go to UC Santa Cruz and wanted to know if I could still get admitted with a D on my senior transcript. I'm currently a senior with a D in my AP Biology class. I signed up for that class because I wanted to and not because I needed another year of science. The a-g courses require 3 years of a laboratory science, of which I've already passed with a B or higher. So I wanted to know if I can still get admitted if I have a D on my official semester transcript given the fact that this is just an "extra" class. (this would be the first time i would have anything lower than a C on my official semester grades and have never had lower than a 3.33 GPA)

    Thanks in advance!

PS I'm still trying to raise my grade to at least a C, but I just wanted to make sure I can still get admitted just in case

  • How to be an ADA like on SVU?

I'm a little torn on what to major in, but a choice might be like to be what Alex Cabot was on Law and Order SVU. How would I go about becoming an ADA; what type of schooling, and also how much do they make? Thanks!

  • Black toenail from running?

Recently (about a week and a half or so ago) I saw that my toe was uncomfortable and saw that my toenail was purple/bluish. I clipped my nail and then some fluid came out and my nail started to hurt for a while, but the purple color slightly went away. Then the same thing happened to another toe. Right now they both feel sore and about half the nail is off on one of them and I want to know how to get it back to normal.

I'm not sure if it's bc my shoes were tight but I just got some new shoes yesterday (a half size bigger).

    Thanks.

  • Considering getting hermit crab(s)?

I'm considering getting a hermit crab, but both my mom and I have some questions about them and their care:

-What type of electrical necessities do they need and are they affordable?

-How can I keep humidity constant?--If I get one during the summer, I'll be able to do it myself, however, once school starts I won't be able to so how can I keep humidity high enough for their comfort (I'm assuming 80%?)

-How many can live comfortable in a 10 gallon glass tank?-I heard they prefer to live in groups

-My final question/concern is: Well this isn't really a question from me, but from my mom: Can they live outside? By this she means if the tank can be outside (Still having the electrical supplies they need of course) I told her it probably won't be a good idea after summer, but during summer it won't be as bad, but either way I'm not too sure about this.

    Thanks in advance :]

  • Numbing bump on my leg?

Well I'm in Track (long distance) and about 2-2.5 weeks ago I noticed this weird lump on my leg. It usually comes on our hard workouts, but when it comes it either makes the area from the lump down numb ( it's about midway on the left side of my left leg) or my whole leg numb and it's affecting my running. When I'm done running I massage it and it feels kind of watery, but it manages to go down and the numbness isn't there when I walk. What is this and how can I make it go away?

  • Woke up gasping for air?

This past night I woke up gasping for air. Before that, I felt myself tossing and turning and I felt "trapped". Then all of a sudden my eyes shoot wide open and I'm gasping for air and my heart rate sharply increased. Then the same feeling(like I was nervous) stayed with me for a couple hours, then it went away. This happened to me once before not too long ago too. What happened?

  • Why are my hands usually shaking?

For a couple years now (like maybe 5 or 6) my hands have been shaky. Sometimes it's really obvious, and other times it's just slightly noticeable. It's been like this for a while and I'm wondering what it could possibly be.

  • What's a good brand or earbuds?

Recently, my earbuds just broke after only 3 months($10 iFrogz from walmart). My iPod touch came with earphones, but they're very uncomfortable. My question is what are some good quality earbuds(that can be found at walmart) that can last. I also have a budget, under $30.

    Thanks!

  • What would be a good running time?

I'm 16 and I just started running this school year in Cross Country. Our races were 3 miles and my best time for it was 20:19. Now that it's over, I'm gonna try track this year as well. So I was wondering what would be a good (by that I mean practical, but still fast) time for the 1 and 2 mile events?

    Thanks!

  • Ipod won't turn on.?

This morning my ipod was working fine, then like three hours later, it wouldn't turn on. I tried charging it in, but it wouldn't even light up or anything, same when I tried plugging it into the computer. The lock button on the top isn't the problem. Any solutions?

    Thank you.

  • Why do my knees hurt?

I'm 15 and to the nearest 10, 110 lbs. On the last couples days of school, last 10 maybe, the cross country team at our school had required practices for people who wanted to join. I went. At first it was all right, but then for some reason after one of the practices, my knees really started to hurt. About two weeks later, now, they still hurt. They hurt when I jump, bend down, or run. Is it just me getting use to running?--I still have to run over the summer to keep up

    Thanks!

  • My Parakeet's toenail broke off?!?

This morning I was cleaning giving my birds fresh water when I noticed dry blood. I looked and saw that one of my parakeets had a toenail missing and a bite on another toe. Dusty, the parakeet, shares her cage with another parakeet, but they've NEVER done anything like this to each other and probably didn't do anything. What I think was that it was my lovebird, who has its own separate cage right next to it, however. It probably grabbed its toenail through the bars of the cage. I've separated their cages further apart. I found a vet nearby, but am wondering if it's appropriate to take her? I'm a little scared because I don't want to lose her.

    Thanks.

  • Cockatiel Questions.?

1)My cockatiel, Ash, isn't a big fan of getting wet. One day, I was playing with him and decided to give him a bath. I got a container with shallow warm water and tried getting a handful and pouring it on him--he went crazy! So then, I got warm water and put in a "haircut spray container" and sprayed it. He seemed to tolerate that more, but how can I get him to enjoy bathing like this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detail...

    2) Ash has never eaten anything other than bird food and occasionally spinach. I want to know if he can try like tasteeos, an imitation of cheerios, but not the honey kind, and if he can nibble on some wheat bread, but as a treat of course.

    Thanks!

  • Do you think this' a good idea?

My school doesn't serve ANY vegan food. I was a vegetarian for about three months then decided to go vegan, however, today I noticed all they usually always serve are: beef burritos, bean and cheese and rice burritos, bean and cheese burritos, salads with chicken/ham with cheese, strawberry yogurts, cheeseburgers/chicken sandwiches and pepperoni pizzas. I got an idea from the PETA website to get like two hundred signatures, proven statistics, and some research about the benefits of a vegan diet so the school can start serving vegan food...what do you think?
