2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoHow to invest in stocks and other things?
I have ben given what stocks are and what happens when you invest in stocks. I have already made an account, but I'm not sure how to get started. For example (I don't know what I will be investing in yet), if I were to invest in google and Scholastic, how would I start?

2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs6 years agoMy phone randomly called somebody?
This morning, I was on my computer at work minding my own business with my phone on he desk and then I get this text from someone asking "Who is this?" I was confused because I had no clue who this number was. He/she claimed I called them but I didn't touch my phone at all nor did I hear the phone ring or did I see it turn on.
I took a screenshot of my phone activity to prove I never called that person and sent it to him/her and the he/she sent me back a screenshot of my number on that person's phone.
I've had the same number from a different state for a while but still keep getting numbers from that state (I don't talk to anyone in that state at all since I left five years ago). This is the first time I have called somebody without even having the thought of calling that person. Was it something from the computer that made my phone have a mind of its own? Maybe the touch screen itself? Someone else has the same number as and I need to change my number? Or has my phone gone berserk?
The phone is a Galaxy S5 and the service is AT&T.
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans6 years agoCan you be an enlisted reservist and still enroll in USAFA?
I am aware of the importance of staying on top of school work, but lately I've actually been looking into it. I probably won't be getting into it right on the spot, but is it still possible to go into the prep school and then transfer over to the actual school? Would I still have to go into their version of bmt even though I've already been through enlisted bmt?
I'm almost 19 by the way.

Just curious if there are more out there.
2 AnswersMilitary6 years agoAnybody done a senior prank that had really bad consequences at the end?
We had a food fight that involved flour bombs (More of a joke since it only lasted for like 8 seconds and I left out of the cafeteria right when it happened). What happened at the end was like 6 seniors who were involved were pushed back their graduation by two weeks and the class trip to Disneyland (Not that I really cared) was cancelled.
1 AnswerJokes & Riddles6 years agoFavorite game console of all time?
Tough choice between Original Xbox and Gamecube. I grew up with both of these consoles and had a bunch amazingly awesome games for both from Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime/Prime 2 Echoes, Road Trip, and SSBM (GCN) to Munch's Odyssey, DDR exclusives, Fusion Frenzy, First Forza, and Gun Griffon (Xbox).

198 AnswersVideo & Online Games6 years agoWhy do some people buy luxury and supercars?
DISCLAIMER- I'M NOT AGAINST NOR JEALOUS IN ANY KIND OF WAY WITH THESE RICH SUCCESSFUL (Or so it appears) PEOPLE THAT DRIVE THEM. I AM JUST CURIOUS OF WHY PEOPLE BUY THESE CARS WHEN THEY COULD GO WITH A HONDA CIVIC, OPEL, COROLLA, OR JUST SOME KIND OF DECENT POWERED, FAIRLY COMFORTABLE, FUEL EFFICIENT CAR. OWNING A DREAM CAR IS SOMETHING COMPLETLY DIFFERENT SO DONT BRING THAT CRAP IN HERE. I CURRENTLY OWN A LINCOLN LS (For those who are against this question that want to look in my profile) THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME AS A WELCOME HOME PRESENT BY MY UNCLE AND HAD NO INTENTION ON THINKING I WAS SOMEWHAT BETTER NOR HAD ANY KIND OF URGE ON TURNING HEADS. NOW BACK TO THE QUESTION.
Sure luxury and supercars may look nice, be comfortable, and maybe even fast, but the expensive maintenance, parts, and gas/diesel/electric mileage is just something that doesn't appeal to me in any way. A lot of people from my experience who own and drive them are normally depressed, materialistic, and impatient (This was similar to me when I owned a Jaguar X-Type when I soon realized it's just a Ford Mondeo in a suit and all it would do is break down). Is it because they want to seek attention and make themselves look like the grass is greener on the other side to some people? It just seems to me that they think money can buy their own happiness. I'm asking this because I realized that the following used to be me when I was in high school and am noticing the same cycle with people with BMWs, Mercs, Audis etc.

Living in the United States, I'd prefer German traffic laws, specifically when driving on the highway (I'm aware Germany has the autobahn).
5 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation6 years agoKnowing what's best?
So I'm an 18 year old guy currently enrolled in college who is majoring in politics. As far as my personality goes, I'm generally very mature and dress like a professional/hipster I guess you can say. There are times where I want to dress like some swaggot I guess some people say, have a blast at parties, and do the stupid things people my age and younger do, but doesn't suit me in any way... I feel like society in my generation is slowly devouring me considering my thoughts and ideas in love, life, media, and politics doesn't exactly click with others, although they definitely click with the ones I usually socialize with who are 24 and older.
Also, I have a very overactive mind, meaning I'll probably end up being some multi-billionaire entrepreneur because of the ideas I've come up with on helping the world. That's also the problem. Because of my overactive mind, I'm fantasizing more of my future (Traveling the world, driving nice cars, having a nice big house with my wife and kids.), which doesn't help me considering I know what I have to accomplish in order to reach my goals, which is completing my education. If I wasn't to become an entrepreneur, I would consider working my way up as a representative in a legislative district benefiting my state, or working to become a Public Information Officer or even Administrator in any UN branch. How can I start focusing on the present instead of fantasizing about my future? Mature and professional answers please.

Any 4wd hatches, sedans, pickups, vans, or SUVs you'd normally imagine that with surfboards on the roof with someone just blasting reggae/ska?

5 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation6 years agoWhat is like driving a manual full-sized pickup truck?
I've only driven manual rangers, which feels like a car. I've recently been into the manual f350s and ram 2500s and I'm just wondering. What is it like driving one if you have one? Are the clutches heavier? Does it feel better to have more room in the cab? What about traffic?
