  • Am I too big for this pony? If you give a legit answer I'll answer one of your questions!?

Okay so I am doing a year lease on my jumper pony, Sizzle. The lease ends in February 2017 but I have the option to buy her afterwards. I really really love her and would hate to part with her. Also, I do jumpers and a lot of pony jumper riders look a little big on the pony. They don't care in jumpers as they do in hunters. Anyway, Sizzle is 13.2hh and I am 5'3" ish. I do have big feet and long legs which indicates I might get to 5'6" or taller. I most likely will end up buying her because my brothers can ride her as they are smaller. I am attaching a video of her so you can see how big I look on her. In other words, how big do I look on Sizzle and how much bigger could I get before I would be too big? Thanks so much and please no hate!

  • Help with feeding pony please! If you give me a legit answer I will answer one of you're questions!?

So there are 3 ponies right now living in a paddock. They are a 30 inch mini, an 11h pony, and a 10h pony. I am getting a pony that is 13.2h. At feeding time, the ponies all eat the same food. There are 3 containers set on the ground and they all eat the same food. However, the pony I am getting eats different food. How can I keep my pony from eating the other ponies food and vice versa? They don't really have designated spots where they each eat their food everyday. And I don't want to lead them to their food because if I don't go fast enough they will rear and get really mad because they WANT TO EAT. Thanks in advance.

  • I am getting a pony soon and I have a question. please answer and I will answer back.?

I am getting a pony soon and I was wondering how should I introduce my pony (13.2h) to the other ponies? They will all live in a paddock with 2 run in sheds. There is one miniature horse, a 10h horse, and an 11h horse. They are all mares.

  • When is the right time to start riding a foal?

Okay so I am looking at some ponies to purchase and I might get a yearling. I was looking at German Riding Ponies, Welsh ponies and other breeds like that. The ones I am looking at are expected to mature around 13.2-14.2 hands. When is the right time to start sitting on the horse after getting it used to tack, etc.? And please no hate. Thanks!

  • How can I get along with my brother?

Okay so my brother is extremely hard to get along with. He argues about EVERYTHING at every possible moment. However, my parents want to see us get along better. I am 13 and he is 12. How can I show my parents that we are getting along and how can I get along better with him? I'm going to ask him to play Monopoly in a few minutes. He likes to play it a certain way and I like to play by the rules. I think I'll just play his way otherwise we will get in trouble for "fighting" if we argue about it. Thanks in advance!

  • Trying to convince my parents to get me a pony please help.?

Okay so my friend and I have both been riding for 7 years. We are advanced riders and can jump up to 3'. We can both handle slow ponies as well as fast ponies. We are trying to convince our parents to let us buy or lease ponies. We are not barn brats. We have worked very hard on our riding. The reason we are asking for ponies is because all of the horses at my barn are leased out and there is no one for us to ride. No one for us to love. We are both well aware of the cost. We know that the cost of keeping the horse is WAY higher than the cost of buying one. We know about shoeing, vet fees, board, tack, supplements, and more. We have been riding for a while and we do not need people to tell us how we shouldn't get a horse. We are just asking for help on convincing our parents. We are both 13 so we can't get real jobs. However, I plan on handing out fliers to my neighbors to do babysitting, cleanig, and other chores to earn money. We do not in any way expect our parents to pay for all of this. But we will need their help. Whatever we can pay for, we will pay for. I already have $900 dollars saved up. My parents can afford it (please don't ask me how I know that - I just know) but they wan't us to learn responsibility and pay for alot of things ourselves. Which I totally agree with that. We are both extremely dedicated to the sport. And I know $900 isn't much but it would pay for tack and board for a month. I also help my mom out by giving my little brother piano lessons.

  • Do you think it's stale by now?

So I have some Snyder's honey mustard and onion pretzels. I bought them in mid-july and opened them then. I ate a few then folded the bag close and put it in a gallon-size bag. I am just discovering it now and there is a lot left. They are SOOO YUMMY and I really hate to throw them away. There is a date that says October 24th, 2015. It doesn't say "best by" or "eat by" though. Even they were opened a while ago, do you think they are good to eat? I tasted them and they seemed fine. Thanks and please no hate!

  • What do I wear for Trick or Treat?? Please help!!?

Okay so its the night before trick or treat and I don't have the slightest idea what I'm going to wear! I am 13 years old but please don't say I'm too old. I look 10 anyway. I don't have tons of supplies around the house. I definitely want to dress up in something. So don't suggest "just dress up as yourself". Please no hate. Thanks!

  • Is this rider too big for this pony? Help please!?

Is that rider on that pony too big? If not, how many more inches do you think she would have before she got too big? (Don't worry about weight) And how tall does that rider look to you?

  • Is this pony a wise choice?

I am interested in this pony. I am 13 and almost 5'1" and have slightly longer legs than usual. She is 13.2. However, you can see she is on the stockier side. My mother is 5'4" and my dad is 6'2". I am smaller than most of my classmates though. I'm guessing that I will grow to around 5'5-5'7". I have big feet too - I'm an 8.5-9.5. Do you think that this size pony is a wise choice? If I got her I would take her to local and rated shows. I am also very thin - only 75lbs, so I wouldn't seem to big on her as far as wieght goes. Thanks!

    Here is her url:

It is really long so just copy and paste it or highlight it, right click, and choose "go to (url)"

  • What are some good names for a pet rock? (This is not a joke - it's a legit Earth Science Project)?

So there is this contest in the 8th grade. You have to pick 1 rock out of a bunch of rocks. You have to give it a name and dress it up and stuff. You can even make it a house out of a shoebox or something. What would be some cool names? Any that kinda have to do with sciency stuff? Like Maddie O. Rite? But my friend is doing that one so I can't do that one. Also - do you have any other creative ideas to make the judges (teachers, custodions, principals, etc.) vote for my rock? Thanks!

  • Help with 11 hand pony please!?

So I ride this little 11h pony. She is possibly the most adorable and brattiest pony ever. Right now I think the highest I have jumped her is 2'. She is very fat because the little kids that do lessons on her only do walk/trot. She doesn't get fed much at all but has a lot of time in the pasture. Nevertheless, she looks like she's pregnant. Anyway, she is a pretty good pony overall. She just gets moody sometimes. She also hates bigger horses. One time she reared when a horse got 5 feet away from her. I actually slipped over her butt! So she always rears when she gets near big horses. And when she gets irritated, she bucks. Her bucks aren't really that big since she is so tiny so I usually don't get bucked off. She has behavioral issues but I wouldn't describe her as a dangerous pony. Some ponies love to jump, but I wouldn't say this one does. She sometimes refuses 1'9" jumps. I used to ride her more often but now I cannot ride her as often. When she would get into the groove of things she wouldn't refuse but when she is out of shape she usually refuses. I don't think I have ever done a 2' jump for the first time in a ride without her refusing it 1-3 times atleast. She can do it easily, she just doesn't want to. When she gets in shape, how much jumping potential do you think this pony has. And what are some tips on getting her to not refuse? When the jumps are small enough, if she refuses, I make her jump it from standstill if she doesn't run-out. Thanks in advance!

Please don't just say "sell horses and stuff at the store" or things like that. I already know about the on your 50th day of seinority thing and every 30 days after that. That is a really slow way though. I can't buy passes. What are some really quick and easy ways to get passes and equus? Thanks in advance!
