Open any newspaper and we see articles on "racial-violence" or "gun-violence" or "knife-violence;" we never see anyone wanting to control or eliminate "violence."  Violence is the problem and those who perpetrate it need to be early-identified and treated appropriately.  We are not going to eliminate race or guns or knives or any other boogyman de-jure but we can start to focus on violence!

My lamp uses a 2200 MAh nickle-metal hydride battery and the lamp voltage is listed as a 2.4v.  The battery looks like the 1850 battery you mentioned (a single battery with a blue wrap that covers flat steel strips that appears to be stapled or stamped into each end and bent to the center of the battery where they is soldered to the wires that lead to the plug)  I can't find 2200 MAh batteries that are 2.4v.  I assume that batteries with a lower MAh just won't last as long?  What options do I have?  If I can find a battery, I think I can find a battery box to fit and attach the plug and wires to the battery box.  Home and garden question.

Battery is blue in color cylinder shaped, 2.6" long and 0,8" in diameter.  It has a red and black wires that join together in a black plug that attaches it to the solar light circuitry.  A circuit board in the lamp is marked DW-TYN-01 above XY-12454.  The lamp appears to have three places that may enclose LED's.  The lamp provides an unusually bright light for a solar lamp.  The lamp resembles a larger than usual carriage lamp.

Normally, vote count is not released until the polls are closed to prevent the announced vote count from influencing voters who have yet to vote.  With time extended for the receipt of mail-in ballots and allowing mail in ballots that are not postmarked by election day shouldn't they delay announcing the vote count until after the last mail in ballot is received?

I am tired of programs that want to indent for me or change my lower case letter to upper case or won't let me double space. I want something that just lets me type like I used to be able on a typewriter.

I read the part of the article down to the "read more" button. When I click the "read more" button I am directed to a Yahoo home page that features articles from July. How do I get to the rest of the article through Yahoo? I can look at the heading of the article and look up the article at it's source such as Huffington Post or Washington Post and finish reading the article but I shouldn't have to do that. Why am I directed to the wrong site?

I am restoring my mother's '56 T-bird. It has bench seats. The car will eventually be my daughter's. She is just over 5' tall. She would have to drive with the seat all the way forward to reach the pedals, crushing any average sized passenger against the dash. Does anyone make an adult booster chair that moves the driver forward in the driver's seat as well as providing a slight list in elevation? I can fabricate pedal extensions which would help some. My idea was to install bucket seats and cover them with upholstery to match the '55 T-bird seat that looks more like a bucket. Both wife and daughter vetoed that idea.

Attempts to create an account are rejected stating "enter valid e-mail address".

I thought the President had issued an executive order and it was being implemented but I haven't heard or seen anything.
