Okay, so, I'm Catchick, as I'm sure you've guessed. I love animals ---> especially dogs and cats. I actually have two black cats, and would love to lave a labrador retriever, but that's not happening. I also love sports --> I play volleyball, basketball and badminton. I also figure skate, but I'm not that great at it. I'd like to learn how to do an axel though. I like acting, In my spare time, I like to go on the Internet --> I play on virtual pet websites like Furry Paws, Powerpets and Anizoo. I also read: right now I'm into vampire books :P -Catchick

I put water, Pd(C), sodium hydroxide, sodium borohydride and 4-nitrophenol in a beaker and mixed them, then I filtered it and added hydrochloric acid to it until there was a precipitate. This precipitate was 4-aminophenol. I am having trouble coming up with a chemical reaction for this....if I were to write the reaction out, what would it be?

  • Calculus Question????????

    True or false? The function f(x) = tan(x - pi/2) is not defined at x = pi/2, 3pi/2, 5pi/2......

Could anyone tell me whether it is true or false and explain why? I thought it was false because tan(pi/2 - pi/2) = tan(0) = 0, but my textbook said it was true. Who is right and why? Thanks :)

  • Help with chemistry question?

    How do I solve this?

The vapour pressure of a solvent is the amount of gaseous molecules over an open vessel of solvent. A 50/50 mix of benzene and toluene has 46.7torr of benzene and 13.5torr of toluene at STP. What is the pressure of air over this mixture?

I know that the answer is 699.8 torr, but how was that answer determined? Thanks :)

  • Problems with videos on Windows 8?

I recently got a Windows 8 computer, and I have been transferring all my stuff over from my Windows 7 computer. Some of my videos won't work now. Most of them do, but there are a few that don't, and I'm not sure why because they are the same format and everything as the ones that do work. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how to fix this?

Does anyone know any questions like this that I can use to trick people?
