  • Copyright on a T-Shirt Design?

I made a bunch of cool shirt designs and plan to sell the shirts, etc.

How much is it to copyright a design in the state of NY?

ALSO is it legal if I do the Poor-man's Copyright? Basically I mail myself the design in an unopened envelope with a newspaper from that day and keep that as my copyright proof of when I made that design, etc. Will that work? haha

    Thanks in advance!

  • Building not allowing me to keep my pitbull?

    I own a pitbull mix.

    he looks like this:

    http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash/2820...

my building managers do not know what he looks like. can he pass for a any other breed? I'm afraid they will not allow him to live with me. He is currently being cared for at my friend's house because i was told i could be arrested for keeping him at my home. if i say he's a pitbull mixed with some other "MORE ACCEPTABLE" breed, would you think they might let me keep him? i really do not want to keep him at my friend's house because it is a burden on him. i really miss my dog.. i'm looking to move to another location where i would be able to keep, him but it's too expensive to move right now. i don't know what to do. There are people with german shepherds and other big dogs in my building. so why can't i have MY dog there? ANY dog can be dangerous, its not just a anticancer "breed" .. people don't understand. :[ pitbulls aren't banned from my neighborhood because i see people with them all the time, but can my building still take action against me if i bring my dog back?

  • Potential Lawsuit.. mold growing on walls?

Whenever it rains hard one of my bedrooms start leaking water through the ceiling and walls. The management sends people to repaint the walls and whatnot, so i figured this situation was like the same old. After hurricane Irene hit new york, it had been raining every now and then these past 2 weeks. Today i looked up at a corner of my ceiling and i saw a HUGE mushroom. Depending on the size it means that this fungus had been growing for a while, no? The size is probably like an inch or more sticking out the corner of my ceiling. Of course i'm gonna report it to the management, but i wanna know something... If the walls were susceptible to mold, isn't it the building management's responsibility to check up on these walls these past few years i've been living here? My little brother shares a room with me and he's developed some kind of rash on his leg and a little on his face in the past few days. It may be from the mold... but i'm not sure. Lets say it IS because of the mold and whatnot... is that a potential law suit? Even if it wasn't the mold, can i still take some action against the landlord/management for negligence? thanks lol.

  • Getting home from Governors Island, New York?

On 9/3/11 there is a concert at Governors Island which my friends and I will be attending. I looked at the ferry schedule already so getting there isn't the problem... coming back is. The concert starts at 11:30am and ends at 11:30pm. On Island's site, it says that the last boat is at 6:00pm.. so how would I get back to Manhattan from there? Taking a taxi is my last resort. Are there any other late night public transportation options? Thanks!

  • Custom t-shirts. Decals?

I've been having the idea of adding my own custom t-shirts to the selection at my store. I need a place that I can go to for custom decals/stickers to use on a heat-press/screen-print machine. I have designs that I already made through photoshop. Does anyone know of a company or place i can go to with these designs so they can make decals out of them for me to use?

  • Quality dog food for an affordable price?

I recently adopted a 10-11 month pitbull. He's a little skinny but other than that his coat and his health seems to be in great shape. I'm looking for a good quality dog food. It doesn't necessarily need to be HIGH quality, but it needs to be good and affordable. I looked up blue buffalo and I'm willing to try it. What are some similar brands but are a little more affordable. Thanks!

  • Need help with my future dog.?

There are 3 dogs at the ACC that i am currently looking at. I will only adopt 1 of them but i need some help with this particular one: http://www.petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=NWYK.A900457

He is a husky mix. The other mixes are kind of unknown, although, he has pit bull features. The only thing that bothers me is his weight. It says he is 29 pounds, so it means he isn't that tall. How tall do you think he is judging by picture and his weight? I prefer a medium sized to a large sized dog. I think this dog is probably 18 inches tall. What do you think?

  • Cat allergy = Dog allergy as well?

I'm allergic to cats. I never used to be but now I can't stay in the same room with a cat for more than 20 minutes. Are cat allergies different from dog allergies? I'm going to get a dog in a few months (hopefully :] ). I decided on a a pit-bull terrier so I was wondering if i would be allergic to dogs as well. If so, then I'll have to settle with a miniature schnauzer. Thanks in advance!

  • My girlfriend and I are having a silly debate...?

Basically we were talking about her contact lenses, and how she hasn't been able to do her photography homework because it bothers her eye too much. So I said to her, jokingly, to just gouge out her eyes so she becomes blind. That way she wouldn't have eye problems anymore. Then the big question came up; are there any blind photographers? -___- .. so tell me, are there any photographers who are blind? like legally blind, to full on blind.

  • Hey guys. I'm looking for a puppy for my family.?

A dog that doesn't shed too much because my mom is allergic/has health problems. Preferably a black dog. It doesn't matter what size the dog is, as long as its not too much trouble to look after. By that i mean i don't want a dog who needs a TON of exercise, and is moderately/easy to train, and moderate exercise needs would be good, maybe once every two days or so. It HAS to be a black dog or at least gray colored because in my Nepalese culture it's "good luck". we live in queens, new york city, and we live in an apartment. so a dog that is well suited to apartments would be nice. Thanks in advance!! personal experiences owning a dog would be very very very helpful! :]
