  • eBay seller asking me to send him money directly?

I bought an item off eBay and when I got paid I went through ChannelAdvisor. It failed to recognise the order. I contacted the seller who said it was a system fault and to send him the money directly to a paypal account through paypal. Will I still be protected? Is this safe? The order is cheap.

  • How can I make two damaged disks form one disk?

The administrator of my former workplace gave me a CD with MS Office 2003 Professional on it a few years ago, and I made a copy so I could reinstall it (my old computer crashes a lot). I made two copies, because I have a tendancy to scratch disks.

That was a few years ago. Now, both the disks are scratched. I installed MS Office to my old computer for the about the fifth time today, but after a few minutes I received an error saying it couldn't find a file. I put in my second copy, and it kept working. Then after ten minutes it had the same problem. I swapped back to the first disk. The install finished successfully.

Is there any software (I doubt Nero can do this) that I can use to make a fresh copy of these two disks without errors?

  • shlwapi.dll is corrupt and unreadable, help!?

My computer constantly gives a exclamation bubble saying the following: "The file or directory C:\Windows\System32\shlwapi.dll is corrupt and unreadable." On Googling it, I found it is a necessary startup file and PC won't start without it.

I've run chkdsk utility, but it needs to restart the computer and scan at startup. I don't really want to even shut the computer down.

Apart from Backing up documents, what can I do to save my PC?

  • YouTube Music Copyright Question?

I've been watching some video's and when the video plays it has an Ad for the song on it. I'm guessing this way YouTube can't disable the audio. I'm almost certain they haven't used audio swap or the uploader is a partner? Any help?
