  • Can you substitute almond milk for evaporated milk in pumpkin pie?

My 5 month old son has a dairy allergy and I am breastfeeding, so, I am on a dairy free diet. With Thanksgiving coming up, I was wondering how substituting almond milk for the evaporated milk in the Libby's pumpkin pie recipe would effect the outcome? Or what other options I would have for a dairy free pumpkin pie.

  • What are my odds for a healthy pregnancy?

I have 2 daughters, ages 10 and 7. After my second daughter I had a tubal ligation (clipped, tied, and burned). I have since remarried and got a tubal ligation reversal in May of '08. In January '09 I found out I was pregnant and had a chemical pregnancy at 5.5 weeks. I got pregnant again in April and found out at 7 weeks that I had a blighted ovum, but didn't actually miscarry until June 1st. My husband and I quit trying for a couple of months and just started trying again this last cycle. I got my BFP! But am only 4 weeks 1 day and am really worried that I will miscarry this one too.

My question is....does anyone know, statically, what the odds are for this being a healthy pregnancy?

  • I took an ovulation test and it has turned up positive for the 4th day in a row. Anyone have an answer?

I took an ovulation test and the first two days came out negetive and then I have had 4 positives in a row. I thought they were only supposed to detect a surge of LH. Anyone have an answer for this? Is it normal?
