I leave for college in 20 days and still do not have a laptop! I am looking for a laptop with -Windows 7- and Microsoft office 2010. I realize I will probably have to buy office separate, but its worth a try. And I am looking for new, not used. Any ideas? Need help ASAP please! And I do choose best answer, always!

So I am a 16 year old High School Senior and I want to get a job at Starbucks. I went to my local Starbuck's website to apply and saw that they are only hiring baristas right now.... Is this what I would apply for? I really want to run the register and make coffee and what not, but the way the we only hiring baristas made it sound exclusive... Do baristas at Starbucks have some sort of formal training like Beauticians? Or is it one where they teach you on the job? Thanks so much!!

So I went online and checked out my local Starbucks to put in an application. However, it says they are only hiring shift managers and baristas. So obviously I'm not going to be a shift manager... Is a "barista" there someone who has specific knowledge or is trained before hand like a beautician? Or can I just apply as a barista like I am and be trained on the job? Well I have seen this so many times, I just thought I would ask myself. To be honest, I prefer a girl to looks more done up. I would want my gf to be tanned, to wear makeup, and lip gloss... The whole 9 yards. I think that it shows that she cares about her image. What do you think?

My cousin has one and I thought it was the cutest thing! It is basically just a big cardboard square that you tack to the wall, but you cover it with pictures that and items that bring back good memories or stand for good luck. For example, hers had concert tickets, pictures of friends, chocolate wrappers, a four leaf clover, a cut out of Jacob from twilight, and magazine clip outs of her favorite articles...

Should I make myself one? I'm seriously considering it. And have you ever heard of this kind of thing before?

So I'm a Leo. I was born in August, along with 1/12 of the world's population. I don't really do the "Horoscope" thing, so can you tell me, based on my zodiac sign, what I'm SUPPOSED to be like?

So I am soooo terrified of spiders. I was watching disaster date when all of a sudden I see like an annoying little kind of motion in the corner of my vision. I turn to see that a super duper scary spider was JUMPING up and down, trying to climb on to my couch... It kind of looked like a Grandaddy Long-leg but its legs were a little thicker and its body was so much bigger! Like it was the size of like a 5-cent piece of double bubble! I was paralyzed in fear and almost started crying. And worst of all, as soon as I left the room and peaked back around the corner, it was GONE! So any ideas on what this spider could have been. Oh, and btw I'm in West Virginia.

Okay, so about twenty minutes after I posted this, I was still on the internet with my feet off the ground. Just as I thought it was safe to put them down, I turn around to see it freaking watching me from like 3.5 feet away. I was extremely horrified! I made sure to get more details though. It was about as large as I had first described. But this time I noticed that it's legs were black and brown striped. It was for sure the same spider though bc when I planned on crushing it with a piece of cardboard, it got away. Like one mega leap is all it took and it was out of my view!

Someone suggested maybe it was a wolf spider. Can they jump?

I have a GPA of 3.78 and on the practice ACT that I took last year I got a 27 with a perfect score in Reading and a predicted score of 28-32 for when I take the real test. What will I need to get on my GPA/ ACT scores to get a full ride to a pretty good school? (Examples: Marshall University, Ohio State University, Kentucky University) Thanks for helping :)

Someone just added me as a contact to their yahoo IM. How can I visit there page and look at their avatar pic and read their bio (etc.) Any idea? Because when I click on their name, it just pops up a chat window. It is very frustrating! Thanks :)

So I just got a new request for an IMing contact on my Yahoo. I accepted and the person seems really nice. But how can I go to their profile to view their photo and make sure they are legit? Every time I click on their name, it just pops up the chat box like I am going to IM them. Please help?

My directv dvr has always let me record two shows at the same time as long as you are watching one. Now it is only letting me record one show, and you cannot watch anything else while it is recording. Why is it now suddenly doing this? Any ideas?

It is 1:44 in the morning and I just received a harassing, slightly scary, and very inappropriate "prank call". They knew my name AND my father's name! I don't just give out my number, but it is on my facebook... So I know it was one of my FB friends... Is there any way I can find out for certain who it was, they blocked their number. Thanks

So for the past few days I have had some serious pain and discomfort. It is like right under my sternum and above my stomach. It feels more stomach related though. I have difficulty breathing, eating, and sitting. It literally just feels like this awful pressure, as though somebody put a softball under my ribs and on top of my stomach. There is tenderness when i feel the area in question, accompanied by pain, but no real noticable knot. Please help me figure this out. It feels like having gas buildup, having a heart attack, and feeling starved all at the same time. Any ideas??

Okay, so for some reason I am really in the baking mood. Is their any recipes out there that are very simple to make? Also, I have NO baking soda. (I accidentally bought baking powder instead) And also, please no recipes that require chocolate or fruit (I have neither) Thanks a million!!!

Okay, so when I download a song from mediafire (i know, i know) it goes onto my windows media player, not my iTunes account? How can I change this. It will not let me drag the song files or anything. Please help!

So my dog (A 3 year old teacup yorkie) has been sick for the last few day. He has barely ate anything and shakes often. He has never had this problem before and I am very concerned. Just now I walked through the house to find that he threw up a small pile of white frothy vomit with a bit of blood in there. (the blood was VERY alarming) Any ideas what he might have or what we should do? Thanks!
