I have a 1 litre bottle of Sambuca essence (50% alc. vol.) which I would like to make into an alcoholic beverage for my own use. I'm happy with the alcoholic content - no problem there.

You used to be able to buy 100% proof alcohol essences from bottle shops. They were 750 ml bottles, and were made for people who liked to 'cook' their own alcohol. These are no longer available, but I have been given one bottle of Sambuca cooking essence that I described above, and would love to make up one last batch for myself.

I'm not looking to brew my own, nor will I be able to access more of the same, but would like to make up this lone bottle. Can you help me please???

I have an internet provider that will sell me the adaptor or whatever I need for about $85 plus postage. Dick Smith Electronics sells the adaptors for between $65 and $145 each. I don't want to buy one that will be inadequate or inferior, but neither do I want to spend top dollar if it is not warranted. I am on a pension.

Can anyone please help me with information, part numbers and prices? I live in Adelaide, South Australia.

Are the people who are using VOIP happy with the service?

I have a 1 litre bottle of SAMBUCA natural cooking concentrate. It is 50% Alc/Vol. What quantities of sugar and water do I need to make the syrup to make the alcohol?? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I often answer questions, and do not care whether I get Best Answer or not, but I always try to put a lot of thought into my answers. Frequently, I check back over these questions and answers, because I am curious to see what their preferred answer was, and they are still 'In Voting" after weeks and weeks.

When so many of you people take the time and effort to respond to a question, and sometimes I notice a lot of research has been done for them also, I think it is really inconsiderate not to acknowledge your efforts by resolving their questions, even if they add a note to say it wasn't what they were looking for.

I know not everyone is genuine, and take that into consideration.

Also it annoys me that they do not give enough pertinent information when asking for help with something, like we are supposed to be mind readers.

Sorry for griping, needed to get that off my chest.
