  • Regarding Tennis, Chennai open?

    I used to play a lot of tennis as a kid and now I want to become a professional or semi professional tennis player in India/International. I am 25 and I believe that unlike a typical computer geek I have built my body and skills in tennis and I believe I can reach the top. I already have an All India Tennis Association ranking (AITA) but I do not have an ATP ranking.

    So what should I do to get into the circuit again since I have been off the field for about 6 years and everybody I know are either big-shots who consider me insignificant or are retired themselves. I would like to enter the chennai open in particular because it is hosted in my home city and it is an international level tournament. With my effort I was only able to procure tickets to watch the matches.

    I would also appreciate alternative tournaments that are held locally/national level, which focus mainly on the mens-single matches because I have not joined any clubs.
