My BF and I are adopting a 1.5 y/o great dane, and my BF really would like to purchase a matching leash and dog collar for it that is Florida Gator themed- orange and blue, etc.

I have done some brief searches in the past week or so online and with so little time on my hands, I'm having trouble finding the perfect ones.

Any recommendations on websites? Here is what we need it to be, other than gator themed...

*really sturdy- this dog is not a dog- its a horse.

*nice- not too busy of a pattern- but don't stress about it- in the end, im the one buying it so give me what chya got ;)

*we measured the pupppy's neck and came up with 26" if i remember correctly- but basically- the dog needs a huge collar! so try to leave out the sites that only sell up to 22" and all... he also needs growing room- he will be beefing up some, his previous owners didnt really keep him healthy, in shape or fed well enough.

and i would love to know out of these two options which everyone prefers or would recommend- or if there is anything you recommend in the same price range that would be amazing. thanks for your input. (also if you could give me reasonings if you have good ones)

(these are the two links my mother sent me- she will be purchasing the gift- and she wants to get what i want but ive never had anything more than the Walmart $15 kind or whatever is on the truck- EMT/Paramedic/Firefighter is the field I will be using this for- so keep in mind outside noises will be at maximum interference and I will be using it for the main idea of listening to lung sounds and occasionally cardio if the situation arises)

i have to write a 1500 word paper on whatever i choose in the emergency medical field. any ideas- something intyeresting please and something easy also

im in paramedic and im trying to get a jump start on a paper that will be due in two terms. if i can do it now, it can also count for my selected topics course- but the reason why the paper is due in two terms is because we arent supposed to be learning about the topic yet-

i plan on knowing it like the back of my hand but its difficult to find good interesting -different from the normal wikipedia article information-

and they want us to focus on the parkland formula-

i thought i would go about writing it using a personal experience and discuss what i would have done in the situation if my scope of practice had been broader.

so my question is: can anyone give me good websites that are thorough and informative on burns and emergency interventions for severe burns- in an EMS setting? Also if anyone can explain clearly exactly what the parkland formula is.

the guy ive been seeing for a while now, we got into a fight last night- i ended up walking/driving away and i was so hurt. today, i was nice to him and he was civil to me- he told me he wanted to talk- i told him to keep me updated and to let me know when i could meet him tonight.

he finally answers me through text messages- he tells me he's on a boat w/some friends and its not a good time to talk. i write back 'thank you for letting me know. finally. have a good night'

& then he has to come back with something like 'now i have to check in with you? i dont think so'

its something small. its not a big deal. but he knew it would upset me

i havent done anything wrong- the fight we had was because of something else he said yesterday. for the past week he's been acting different & i think this is the end of our relationship but i dont understand why he has to be so nasty. im very easy going and sweet. im not a bi*ch. so why does he have2 hurt me even more

my guy friend & i are both going to be firefighters. im living w/a lieutenant right now, & my friend has bunker gear from explorers. (bunker gear is what they fight fires in)

we're going to a costume party&he told me yesterday that he was going to just be a firefighter. which is great. whatever

except today i still dont have my costume (i want something tasteful, not trashy, but feminine 2- and i want something easy that isnt going 2 stand out much- i need it to just be low-key)

& the only thing that i can think of being easy to throw together- & not look awful is going to be related to fire fighting.

like i said im living with a fire lieutenant. Lt.'s wear white which make them different from lower ranks

i really like the idea of wearing a miniskirt w/the white Lt shirt, maybe some ff boots and to top it off, one of his old helmets. it looks classy is still low key but am i crossing the line? im not wearing bunker gear but am i still stealing my friends idea?

if so, any other ideas?
