okay so i'm an 8th grader (girl) and basketball season for my school just started. i've played since about 5th grade. i've never really been the best, but i don't know if i can handle it anymore. there is too much running for me. and we are going to play in a different league (harder). and i just don't really like the sport anymore. and i'm not going to play in high school. i don't have a problem with any one on the team, they are all my friends. i feel like i will miss out on stuff but i don't wanna do something for 4 months if i'm not even interested. and i told my friend i was thinking about quitting, and she said " well it's not like we'll make fun of you for it or anything, and since you wanna play volleyball in high school, maybe you should play select or something"
