  • ovulation question? please help?

my husband and i have been trying for our 2nd baby for 2 months now, with our 1st i got pregnant straight away so didnt need to think abouit all this. i bought ovulation tests and i got a positive one today, however yesterday i had all the stringy white discharge, i didnt take a test until today and i dont have as much discharge today, we had sex 3 and 4 nights before the stringy discharge, does this mean i have completley missed the window to get pregnant or could i still have a chance? please be honest as im really upset thinking the days it actually mattered we didnt have sex.

  • could i be pregnant? please answer?

my husband and i are trying for our 2nd baby, with our first i got pregnant straight away and missed my period but i knew i was pregnant before due to the nausea.

This time around we were trying last month and i got my period, biggest dissapointment ever! so we are tring again this month and i think i have ovulated already, we have been having sex at least every 48 hrs if not more.

i feel nausea and my skin is really itchy especially around my belly button, i am peeing a lot and have some extra discharge, im also knackered.

i am wondering if i could be pregnant as i stil have to wait 10 days to test, or whether this could be wishful thinking.

  • at what age does a toddler start using a pillow?

my son is 9 months and when he had a chest and ear infection last week we let him use a pillow at nap times in his travel cot so we could see him at all times this helped his breathing. he loves falling asleep in our bed on the pillow and once hes asleep we move him to his cot, hes doing fine without a pillow i just wondered what age you usually start using pillows?

  • meal suggestions for a 9 month old boy?

my son is 9 months and he is eating 3 meals a day mashed now instead of pureed, he has weetabix for breakfast and cheerios to feed himself, he has yoghurt, fruit or sandwiches for lunch and dinners he has things like cauliflour cheese, stew, spaghetti bolognaise, pasta.

he has no problem eating fruit and veg as he loves it esp finger feeding himself grapes, melon pieces and he loves cauliflour and broccoli.

i'm running out of dinner ideas to make him i usually just give him what we are having for dinner (but with baby sauces) or i make a sauce especially for him i never give him our gravy etc.

id love to hear what kind of dinners other 9 month olds are having and idead for sandwich fillers as he has dairylea and ham and tuna pastes etc as ham pieces is too chewy for him.

he usually just has water to drink but occasionally i let him have a little baby juice, at what age is he allowed normal dilutable juice. (not for every day just a once off).

  • 39 weeks pregnant help?

im 39 weeks 4 days pregnant, ive had my mucus plug coming away for weeks now, over the past few days especially ive had severe backache, cramps, running to toilet all the time for both reasons, a lot of discharge and the baby is very low down, i have sharp shooting pains in my pelvis which travels through my vagina almost like the baby is pushing out, the cramps and things are not timeable so i doubt they are real contractions but im so fed up i want to have the baby now, do you think these are signs of labour and if so will i be much longer? (i know your not doctors but some reassurance would be great)

    thanks.
