If you haven't heard there has been a great tragedy across our nation. I thank God everyday that we have a leader like Obama who genuinely cares about our nation. Reassuring the nation that we will prevail is MUCH more important than talking about the Fiscal Cliff.

I see TONS of conservatives still claiming Obama is from Kenya without ANY FACTUAL EVIDENCE!! I'm Independent (may lean slightly more left) but I don't understand why people still believe he was born there.... When Bush was President I don't remember any Democrats saying Bush wasn't born in America so... Why do Republicans say this? Also, it's 2012 and people are still disrespecting Obama because the color of his skin, IT'S THE 21ST CENTURY PEOPLE!!

I would like to start by saying I am Independent, I do not have a specific party.

I think by 2016 we should have MOST of Bush's mess cleaned up, with the exception of a few things. When do you think? Chris Matthews was saying it's going to take close to 10-20 years to fix what Bush started, THIS my friends is why we didn't vote in Romney, he would set us back. Obama is definitely on the correct path, I'm positive that countless lives were saved by Obama's killing of Osama Bin Laden. How long do you think it will take to recover from the mess George "Not so smart" Bush started?

Two people have the RIGHT to be married regardless of gender. I'm a Sociology Professor at a local campus and notice students are becoming more tolerant than we once were. It's just a matter of time until gay marriage is legalized nationwide so I suggest you get on board! Fox spews lies, for that reason I don't allow it as a credible source.

I'm not saying there aren't some professors that lean to the right but the vast majority from my experience lean left. Why is this a problem for Republicans? It's not like I'm blasting MSNBC on the class television! Fox and the GOP are indeed working together! It's not "fair and balanced news" at all! As a Sociologist professor I am fortunate enough to hear the "new" generation of students speak about top issues. Is it a coincidence that the radical right is less tolerant to others? I think not. In a way it's similar to the Republican party, they point fingers at Obama when they in fact created the mess. Republicans are ignorant when it comes to other people's happiness. Facts aren't based off of perception, I think it's safe to say that the GOP humiliates minorities and homosexuals because THEY (far right bigots) are in fact unhappy. Because of the many fallacies Fox has created I refuse to allow students to list Fox as a credible source.

The show used to be good but it actually started to go downhill while Charlie Sheen was still on it. The writers of the show became much more blatant in their sexual innuendos and it just wasn't funny anymore. It wasn't Charlie getting written out that ended Two and a Half Men, it was the disappointing script. Don't get me wrong, earlier Two and a Half Men episodes when Jake was a kid were HILARIOUS! Ashton Kutcher (It auto corrected to "butcher" that's funny) may not be my cup of tea, but if you ever watch it again look at how much they bombard you with sexual remarks. That's my opinion on it, while sex was always a topic on the show, people don't need to be engulfed in it.

Ask Osama if he's better off, oh wait! Obama killed him!!! I'm independent and would say I'm certainly better off today without Mitt "Lies a lot robs me". Imagine how many lives have been saved since Obama killed OBL, 10? 20? 300? The man is a hero in my book and it disgusts me to see all this hatred towards the best President since JFK.

Republicans are the most ignorant people on the planet, if you aren't white (I am black) you should know that Republicans don't care about us. They don't care about the REST of Americans, what about minorities? What about immigrants? Republicans don't care about you unless you are:

1. White

2. Male

3. Christian

Honey, I'm only 1 of the 3, I'm not a male and I'm not white, therefore "I don't count"

Obama is arguably the best President we've had since JFK, comparing Obama to Hitler is as IGNORANT as you can be! Obama DID in fact kill Osama Bin Laden! Obama DID bail out GM! Obama DID save countless American lives by killing OBL! Bush basically took a dump on the economy and then passed it Obama's way, that is a FACT! As an Independent voter I find it rather hilarious how ignorant the GOP can be.

n two years Obama has done more to enact a liberal agenda than George Bush did for the conservative agenda in eight. That’s pretty damn good, folks! All things considered, I’d say Obama is the most effective politician of the Obama era! And the Bush era too.

I’d go just a little further and say Obama is the most effective politician since Reagan, and depending on the day, perhaps even the most effective politician since LBJ.

And why some people on our side of the aisle are blind to that incontrovertible fact boggles my mind.. Fox bots will say the economy is worse but in reality it's much better! Seriously, folks, Obama HAS managed to begin to drain the swamp, even with all those alligators clogging the spillway.

Republicans keep trying to say that Obama added ALL of the debt when Bush added 3/4 of it. When will the GOP sheep admit that they were wrong? They keep pointing fingers at Obama like ignorant children! I'm Independent (may lean slightly more left) and Obama has 100% done more for our country than Bush.

There was an economic crisis in this country, second only to the great depression. President Obama had nothing to do with it.
