Hi there. So I was just walking on the beach today and as the top of my foot skimmed the ground (I drag my foot sometimes without thinking), I kicked a sea urchin! I went toward the water thinking, "Ok, OW!" and I had no idea I had anything in the top of my toe until I looked at where it was hurting. A big, purple sea urchin spine sticking out of the cuticle! Only a little bit sticking out, but it still hurt. I went crying to my dad, and he tried to pull it out but I was bawling in pain.

It hurts when anybody tries to pull it. It really hurts! It makes my whole toe ache. I soaked it in vinegar, but it didn't disintegrate. My foot got really raw from sitting in the vinegar, but it didn't really help. After my dinner, my family tried pulling it out again but almost as soon as they started pulling I started crying. Please help me! Is it okay to leave a sea urchin spine embedded in your cuticle of your toe? Should I leave it and continue soaking it in vinegar? Please spare me the pain of pulling that spine out if you could. The sea urchin was dead (something ate it out of it's shell) but it's spines were soaked onto the beach. And the spine isn't really sharp; it's kind of rounded, and purple. I'm pretty positive it's not poisonous. Can you tell me if it is though? Thank you. Answers are appreciated! It's attatched by two rings and some metal bars that line my molars...will it hurt? Like, a scale of 1-10, how bad did it hurt for you? :)

Hi everybody! I'm a 13 year old girl and I've wanted budgies for so long...ever since January, I guess..I finally got them about a month ago! Yay! But there's a couple things I want to know.

The budgies are pure yellow with a white splotch on their cheek and pink eyes. One's a male (June) and one's a female (May). They get along great! The chase each other and groom each other too (they hated each other at first XD) But now, I want to know if they like me. I make them treats with budgie seed and flour then cook them. They don't seem to play with those, but whatever. They get jumpy when I clean their cage, but all the same they are patient! May doesn't do much. She kinda sits there and looks at everybody like "What the heck are you lookin' at?" XD But she moves, I'm pretty sure she doesn't have an illness.

Sorry for the long description XD Just when I put my hand in their cage and don't move, they seem all right. But when I move my hand they get really scared and jump to another perch. I'm keeping my hand still 5-10 minutes once every day, but they're not cracking. Whenever I reach for their food or water, they scramble to another perch, even though I move slowly.

One more thing I want to note is that when I whistle, they chirp back to me and we're kind of like a singing duo XD But they seem to hate my hand for some reason. I have two of them in the same cage. Thank you! If you could answer I would love that :)

They kind of like to scurry around the cage (I have two of them) and I want to know if I can tame them together! I have a great website for taming but I just need to know if I can tame the two of them at once. Separating each from each other is not really an option, because we don't have another cage, big cage, etc. I've had the budgies for about five days and yesterday I started putting my hand on the bottom of the cage. I sing softly to them and read a big story book with old stories such as the Three Little Pigs and Goldilocks. Am I doing alright for the taming so far? Can I tame my two budgies at once and not separate them? Thanks!

Sometimes our male budgie grinds his beak (like he opens and closes his beak, making a clicking sound) when I put my hand in the cage! I move my hand slowly and we feed him millet and seed and he's got a nice cage! And it's evening of the next day when we bought them; I know that's not enough time to wait, but they seem fine and calm and occasionally my female and male sing very loudly (most of the time when I'm out of the room). I was also sitting in a chair and my female budgie flew at me and hit the cage. I was right next to the cage so it scared me and now I'm thinking they both hate me!! :( and I was also kind of leaning on the perch because my arm was tired (I was feeding Spray Millet to them for a while) and the perch fell down! They are both fine but I really think they hate me now!! :( Please give me some advice!

Okay, so i want to play Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets but...when I open the CD ROM nothing happens. It doesn't load or nothing pops up- just the same old start screen, I don't hear nothing run and fan to make it load. It just won't. My Harry Potter games refuse to work also. Can you guys help me with this? I want to learn Spongify! XD But seriously, I need some help. Also my computer has 2 settings where it USED to WORK: "CD Writer" which it is currently on (and this is a PC game) and "Lightscribe DVD Supermulti Drive." I don't know how to change the settings, I think it was on Supermulti when it worked! Please help me :(

So I got a beesting yesterday (i stepped on it, clumsy me hehe :P) and now it's swollen, and I can't walk on the tip of my toes because the thing feels like it stretching. (No allergy symptoms) I was at the beach, so I went into the water and when I got out, I didn't see the sting anywhere..do you think it's still in there? How long will this be swollen? Any remedies or tips to help relieve my dang foot? Thank you! :S

It's on my left side,it been 2 hours and it's still hurting, I vomited several minutes ago..it was awful :( please help me :( I can't take any drug btw.

I got some [metal] bands (for an expander), like, 2 days ago..turns out some bands are really deep into my gums..is that normal? My brother's bands aren't that deep..is this because maybe (just maybe!) my gums need to be pushed up or something? Also it scares me that like when I get them out they'll bleed like crazy and it'll hurt. Please give me advice and please answer. I tried to make this as clear as I could! thank u!

Okay, I have to admit I have a little bit of an overbit on my teeth, and they won't be very aligned if my lower jaw moves forward to match them up. Have some questions:

-do expanders hurt? ( I'm getting a lower one, my bro is getting a top AND bottom..yeowch)

-do braces hurt?

-one of the last dentists my family went to recommended and headgear..is it a big change with an expander? Who is right? This guy is recommending a lower expander only.

-how long will I have it on for? My bite isn't too bad! ( I think)

-is it difficult to eat with a lower jaw expander?

I can't eat anything and my teeth are kinda loose, is that normal? And I am starting to stimulate my jaw more (I can only "chew" things with my tongue pushing things on the roof of my mouth and smashing it) by having my front bottom and top jaw touch kinda like in an exercise technique. My dad said you're supposed to stimulate your jaw or your teeth will die from lack of movement and I'll get lockjaw. Is that true? I'm really scared now. Please answer! :(

Okay, so yesterday I got some seperators. Gosh, I can't eat even the softest foods in the world without my whole mouth aching like one huge gigantic toothache!!! I get them out on next Thursday, but my family wants to go on vacation (my brother has spacers also). We're thinking could we just let them fall out on their own? Will they? I'm eager and I think it might be a little better than having them taken out by our orthodontist (when they put the 12 seperators in, they HURT!!!!!!!) and I'm afraid they'll hurt being taken out too (I've seen videos, looks like it hurts!!) thanks and please no rude answers!

I just got spacers about 7 or 8 hours ago and I can't eat! My teeth are too sensitive--even my front ones! I have 12 spacers and even when I eat soft foods I can't eat it! I only chew with my front teeth while they're on btw :( I can't chew with my back molars because it's totally gross and the spacers stick up a little, so it feels really weird to have my jaw bounce of each other :( please help it hurts to eat a lot!

Okay, so I have 2 mature bettas. I feed them bloodworms. One day my family and I came home and my red betta was super fat! His belly is white and vainy..we put him on a fasting for 4 days and put a pea in his water. He pooped a lot, but he's still exactly the same! The blue betta is still healthy, and still on bloodworms (they're dried)

My red one is now on flakes. Is he stuck like this or can he get de-swollen?

Okay, so for my birthday in May, I really am itching for a budgie/parakeet. My dad said it's okay. I'm going horseback riding for my b-day (2 hour ride, 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back to my house, so 3 hours in all) the catch is that I'll most likely get my bird a couple days before my birthday, and I'm going to really try training it and spend a lot of time with it. I'm really afraid if it gets attached, he will freak out when my family leaves for our trip (canceling horse-back riding isn't an option, and neither is getting him the same day) I'm just going to skip to my questions now:

-What food do parakeets like best?

-what cage should I get for him?

-What toys should I get for it that'd it really like?

-what is their characteristics?

-Are they okay to leave alone for a while (especially if they're attached to you)?

-Is it okay to train him to sit on my finger the first few days? ( I hear they don't really get close to you the first few days you have it, but all birds are different)

-which gender is most aggressive? (I'm a first bird-owner, so yeah, im concerned about biting lol :D)

-which is better, getting 2 parakeets or just having 1? (I have a brother and he also might like a bird!)

Ok, so I was watching the new Austin and Ally last night, and they kissed (YEAH!!!) but you couldn't actually see the kiss, all u could see was the back of Ally's head, blocking this kiss I: DANGIT. Y r they so kiss-sensitive??? D:

I need some help I: This is the third time I've gotten sick in three months. I got sick in December, January, and now I'm pretty sure I'm sick again because I am suffering with a throat that burns when I swallow and it hurts worse to talk. This is my first day with this stupid thing, too, and I cried at least a million times today, please help me, I don't want to be sick again. I really want to enjoy winter and how can I go skiing and sledding and awesome stuff with this COLD ALWAYS GETTING IN MY WAY?

By the way I get mad at my brother a lot because he never listens and keeps teasing me, so could I also be suffering from stress? I hear it breaks down your immune system..is that true? How can I control my stress levels? I can't be getting sick anymore because my family keeps passing up dentist appointments for spacers and braces and I can't even go a nice WEEK WITHOUT FEEL LIKE ****!

So here are my main questions:

-Am I suffering from stress?

-How do I keep my stress levels okay so it doesn't break down my poor immune system?

-Why do I keep getting sick?=(

Please help me, I am pretty young and I can never have a peaceful, sick-free month! (And I haven't gotten sick for 2 years, are my sicknesses popping up now?? =( )

I am in a lot of pain when I swallow. Please help me! It feels like someone rubbed sandpaper on my throat (hurts by the uvula)

My dad says I was snoring (not too bad, but it's my first time I've ever snored), so that might have triggered it, but I ALSO gargled with peroxide and it reached the back of my throat for the first time (tilted head back, gargled, yada yada yada). I woke up at 1, throat burning, and same through 2 3 4 5 6 7 and 8. :/ please it hurts!! And plus we have a very special trip tomorrow for my mum's b-day and I don't want to crush my family's fun trip. Help! Being left behind is not an option, btw.

I am trying to play my Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone game but when I click on it the computer prompts me "Cannot locate the CD-ROM. Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application."

I've read from the other answers to copy and paste to whatever but I don't know how to do that!!!

Hi, guys! I'm getting my spacers on Tuesday, and I'm excited, but I'm scared too. Here are my questions:

-What should I eat with spacers? I hear they make it hard to chew.

-Should I get a Waterpik? Before spacers, so I'm ready? Will that matter, or is that for pretty much braces only?

-What kind of toothpaste and toothbrush do you recommend for me?

-Is it okay to have icecream with spacers/braces? Okay, I eat a cup of ice cream every day after my lunch (pb&j), is that okay? I promise I'll brush after the ice cream, but is it important to brush right after I eat my sandwich or can I shoot making my (DELICIOUS!!!!) ice cream?

-A lot of the time I have grape juice, oatmeal, and sugar in the morning.

-What can and can't I eat with braces/spacers?

-Can I have Doritos spicy nachos with my sandwiches (like I usually do) while I have braces?

-I will also get a headbrace, because I have a not-too-bad overbite. Is it annoying? Do I have to sleep on my back? (I never really sleep on my back because it doesn't feel good.)

-What does the pain from spacers feel like?
