I know it is totally normal for female dog's urine to turn the grass yellow, but we are renting a house and we want to keep the yard in good shape. I've looked into getting the pills (greenums) that help with this, but they are pretty pricey for me. Are there any home remedies for this? Someone told me to give my dogs tomato juice? Has anyone else heard this or had success with it? Thanks :)

My dog Cabella got kennel cough 6 days ago and I took her to the vet to get antibiotics. My other dog Aspen got it about 3 days later and Cabella was getting worse. I went to the vet and got antibiotics and a cough suppressant and it seemed to help a lot. Aspen seems totally better, havn't heard a cough in 2 days, but cabella is still coughing constantly. My vet said to come back after 7 days to get more antibiotics if she was still coughing. Is there anyone who's had a dog with kennel cough? About how long does it generally last? Thanks :)

(Both dogs have had the bordatella vaccine within the last 3 months and I will be gettting her the extra antibiotics tomorrow regardless)

Cabella is the brown dog and Aspen is the speckled dog, both were rescued and both are full grown.
