Why do all republican pundits and politicians, to this day, always say...?
"George Bush kept this country safe after 9/11!"
Isn't the problem that he DIDN'T keep us safe ON 9/11 and does that mean HE didn't love America?
9 AnswersPolitics6 years agoCan someone please tell Hannity, Limbaugh and Levin...?
...to put the gun down, drop the pill bottle and get your head out of the oven. Everythings going to be alright.
HILLARY 2016!!! The Democratic Dynasty has begun and we all are privileged to be a witness to it!
2 AnswersPolitics9 years agoSooooo...Republicans...Now what?
Laura Ingram said "If we can't beat this President, In this economy, we might as well shut the party down! It's over!"
Do you plan on doing that?
17 AnswersPolitics9 years agoCan republicans really be blamed for their far right stance?
Some people, me included, think that the GOP is hurting America purposely by their failure to want to compromise on ANYTHING that is not in THEIR best interest. My proof is the tea party organizing to either try or succeed in voting out any republican who have worked with any democrat, high level members of the GOP meeting on inauguration night to plot on how to retake the white house, Mitch McConnell saying his only goal is to make Obama a 1 term president and then proving he meant that by not helping to pass one Bill in 3.5 years, allowing birthers to spew their nonsense unchecked, etc, etc.
Then I kinda thought about it...If President Obama is re-elected, with Hillary Clinton waiting in the wings for 2016, that could mean a possible 16 straight years of a Democratic White House. I have to admit I don't think I would want to go thru 16 straight years of a republican presidency so
my question is even though this republican stance is hurting America, and I'm sure republicans will say its not them its the left, isn't what they're doing understandable?
Before anybody says the Democrats haven't compromised, they have tried to on a lot of things. The biggest being Obamacare because that was supposed to be single payer but the left compromised and it was changed to an individual mandate which is what Gingrich was trying to get during the early 90's when "Hillarycare" was supposed to be single payer...and is what Romneycare is...and now its BAAAAAAAAD!
5 AnswersPolitics9 years agoShould I admit my new respect for Romney on here?
It was very nice of him to make Paul Ryan,a guy with such a bad speech impediment, his running mate. The way he was stuttering so bad yesterday and today while trying to answer those question about how his Ryan plan also eliminates 700 billion from Medicare and how he requested in writing the stimulus money that he before and after demonized...but still took the money.
Stuttering his @$$ off...bless his little heart and bless Mutt Romney for giving him a chance. impediment and all.
4 AnswersPolitics9 years agoRepublicans Do you believe its true...(Or do you even care)?
...that even though all republicans aren't racist, all racist are republicans. Especially on this site.
I can't understand how ANY minority can be a republican when racism is so rampant, with some of the most vile things being said and the political leaders let it go unchecked just because they don't want to offend a "voting block" that will vote in the "republican interest".
You have examples of townhall meetings where people will say or ask "questionable" things that go unchecked by political leaders who use the excuse 'I didn't say anything to the person because It's not my job to educate people.'
Sad really
14 AnswersPolitics9 years agoIs it worse than crazy that...?
Republicans picked Romney to go up against president Obama in the 2012 election...A guy who lost to McCainin the 08 primaries...Who Obama crushed in the 08 elections.
They say insanity is doing the same thing twice and expecting different results but what do you call it when you do something dumber than the first time?
5 AnswersPolitics9 years agoHow can the republican candidates say Obama is...?
...the worst and most dangerous president EVER? EVER?!...when we just got rid of a president who, under his watch, America suffered the first attack on U.S. soil of American civilians (3,000+), which caused a rush to judgement that placed the country into 2 simultaneous wars that has caused the deaths of 4,000+ Americans (That's 7,000+ American lives gone...never to return) then after being re-elected pushed through policies that almost pushed the country to the brink of another great depression...
...but President Obama is the most "worst and most dangerous president ever" ???
Is it because he hasn't fully restored the jobs lost under the previous administration...health care...Solyndra...inviting rapper Common to a white house dinner???
I don't want to cry racism so help me figure this out Yahoo
10 AnswersPolitics9 years agoRepublicans....Honest opinions only?
In all honesty, if that's even possible on this site, how many of you believe that the Cain harassment story was leaked by the GOP to torpedo Cain's lead over Romney?
I believe when something like this happens you have to look at who has the most to gain and the only one who gains is Romney, who seems to be supported by the "establishment". The only thing liberals are getting from this is a laugh.
If you think it is GOP originated, do you feel like your being manipulated?

32 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat do you think is the real cause of the U.S. economic down turn (or crisis)?
Obama's 45 days of decision making or Bush's 8 years of decision making.
Or maybe both...........

1 AnswerElections1 decade agoWhat are the differences between.........?
Obama's "spreading the wealth" tax plan and Bush's tax plan?
Obama says his tax cut is for "WORKING middle class Americans" but the GOP's say it just gives money to people that didn't earn it.
So why is Obama's plan called welfare and Bush's called a stimulus package since it's essentially the same thing.

8 AnswersElections1 decade agoTo those that have a problem with the Obama tax plan.............?
.....and this may sound silly to some, but if you're not rich and in the top 5% that will get the tax increase, Why do you care?
That's what I never understood about "Joe the Plumber". Even though right now he would benefit from the tax plan greatly, he's more concerned that "IF" he bought his plumbing business and "IF" it became successful enough to make $250K a year he was "deeply concerned" about the tax plan. That's a lot of IF"s that has to happen.
That's like me saying I don't like the tax plan because "IF" I won the lottery I would be a millionaire and I don't want to pay the higher taxes.
So again, for those that have an issue with it, If you're not rich and not getting the increase but the reduction in taxes....Why do you care?

Don't they realize if that were true McCain and Palin, as badly as they're trying to find anything negative on Obama and make it stick, would have used that attack a looooonnnng time ago?
