  • What does jojoba oil smell like?

I'm thinking about getting some. I'd like to know what to expect from the scent I'll give off if I use it.

  • Can my school charge me like this?

I recently separated from the military and started going back to college I went to before I enlisted. While I was waiting for the fall semester to begin I signed up for a college algebra course to kill some time. I paid for the class in full using my credit card on the deadline day to pay for the course (June 24, first day of the class).

I went to the class every day without ever having any problems with the finance or academic office. The class ended on July 31. I passed with an A.

A week after the class ended I finally received my GI BILL certification letter in the mail and I took it to my VA rep at the school so the GI bill could pay for my fall semester. Before I left, I asked the VA rep what should I do if I don't want to use my GI BILL for a certain semester. She clearly told me "we don't send anything to the VA if you don't give us a printed schedule". I asked her this because its a cheap school which I can pay for myself so why waste my benefits on it when I plan on transferring later for more education at a full university.

Yesterday I received an e-mail saying I have a fee delinquency of $850 for the summer semester. WTF? The class was only $350 (these are rounded of course) and I paid it in full and the class is already over, my grade is loaded, AND I'm registered for a full set of courses in the fall. I go online to see if I can figure out what happened. For some reason, it looks like my school wants to refund me my money then charge the VA some $1200 for the balance I already paid including a new amount which looks like they pulled it out their ***.

How can my school go back and say I owe a different charge?

I know for a fact that if my school dues weren't settled I would have been dropped from the course and not be able to register for any further classes. But I'm already registered for the Fall and have already completed the course they're charging extra for.

My biggest mistake was not printing out or getting an online copy of my confirmed schedule which would show a 0 balance. The only record I have is a credit card statement showing I paid the school the original $350.

I called these fools today and the lady on the phone could only see what I could already pull up myself online (that I owe money) and the lady she referred me to seemed to be out at lunch for 4 hours.

Who should I talk to? I don't think anyone should have to pay the new charges, not financial aid, not my GI Bill, and not me. I'm ready to kick in some doors.

  • What should I do for her?

Last Christmas I spent about $300 on christmas presents for the love of my life. She didn't like that too much and initially she didnt take any of the gifts that I got her, she left them with me for about a week. She got me presents though so I didnt understand why I couldnt get her gifts too. It was our first Christmas together and this year she says she not gonna take my gifts. I already plan on not listening to her cause I already have ideas already :P. She knows I have money so that isnt the issue. She says she doesnt want me spending my money on her. If it were any other woman id consider them a gold digger for wanting something from me but this is my honeysauce and I gladly buy her presents if it would make her face light up. Only problem is that it doesnt :P she looked angry on Christmas and almost angry on Valentines day (I didnt spend that much :P) but all in all she loves all the gifts because I love her and I know what she wants/likes.

My question is what should I do this year? Theres no way im not going to get her anything for Christmas, shes much too important to me. Is she faking me out by saying she doesnt want anything when she really does? How should I go about this because she swears up and down that this year she wont be taking anything from me.
