  • MATH PROBLEM - SCENARIO?

It is approximated that if you are taking an online course and you commit to one hour of classwork per day you can finish the course within 60 days. How soon could you complete the course if you commit to 5 hours of classwork per day?

  • Foreclosure Eviction, Military Service Affidavit?

My question involves real estate located in the State of: TEXAS

The house my husband and I are renting was recently foreclosed. There are a lot of things that I feel hurt the Plaintiffs case, such as we have been in contact with 2 different law firms one of which told us we had 60 days to be out before we would be evicted also we never received a notice to vacate or any written notice. I believe they notified the homeowner but we were renting through a property management company and we were never informed verbally or written that we needed to move until we received a notice saying we needed to appear in court. It has been less than 30 days since the house was foreclosed and we received a Petition for Forcible Detainer and with it was a Military Service Affidavit stating that the named defendant is not active duty signed and notatrized but my husband IS active duty military. Will this error in their paperwork effect the case? I used to be a property manager for apartments in FL and AK and with our evictions if we had an error in our paperwork we had to re-file everything or the case would be thrown out. I do not know if this is the same in this situation or in Texas.

    I sincerely appreciate any advice.

  • Eviction for my rental being foreclosed. HELP?

I am currently living in Texas. My husband and I have been renting a home that was foreclosed the beginning of February. We were contacted by one law agency offering us $1000 on behalf of the bank to move out within 2 weeks and he said if we didnt want to accept we would have 60 days to get out( We would need to be out around April 1st). SO we found a new house already put the deposit down and have signed a contract to move into the new place March 30th. Then today we got served a notice from a different Law office that theres a hearing we have to go to March 10th for eviction. We are not named on the papers it just has the Home Owners name and "all other occupants". Also there was an affidavit signed by the lawyers saying the defendant is not active duty military, but my husband is. We are both good law abiding citizens and we have never made a late payment on anything. And we would have already moved out if we were given notice that we had to. We really dont want an eviction on our record or our credit to be effected by this. Any advice?

  • Real Estate agents, how was your first year?

I am new to the industry and have heard many different stories about the first year as a new agent. How was you first year? Did you make out okay as far as income? What methods did you find worked best for getting your name out there and new clients?

  • Delta Force, one in a million chance? ?

My husband is wanting to try out for Delta Force and I fully support him but would just like to know realistically what are the chances? He is an excellent soldier and is successful in everything he does. But Ive heard that the reality of being accepted is about as good as being an NFL star.

Does anyone know about how many people go to selection and are actually brought on?

  • Is Invisalign very painful??

I'm curious to know how painful the process is. Also, if anyone who has had it can offer some insight on cost. I'm sure cost is dependent on severity so I would also like to know how long the braces had to be worn. I would really appreciate any information you could offer! Thank you! :)
