I've been hooking up with this guy named Ethan, he's my best friend's brother and we were good friends even before we were together. For the past three months, he has all but made me feel like I was the most important girl in the world, and that made me feel really special. I also lost my virginity to him.

A week ago, we had a fight because I caught him hitting on some college girl outside of school. We didn't speak until today and he apologized for everything, which really caught me by surprise since I thought we were done for good. What he did was wrong, and he said that he regretted it, and wouldn't do it again.

Even if I was doubtful to forgive him, he was very determined to attain my forgiveness. He's tried so hard to get things back to normal... so I forgave him. Because he was important to me, and I didn't want to lose him.

It was all well, and everything seemed great but what bothered me was that after spending quite some time away from him, I had the liberty of hanging out with other people, other guys, and I found it quite enjoyable. I also saw him hanging out with other girls and I saw him sharing the same aura that he's had with me, with them. I'm worried that I might not be so special to him after all, and that it was all for the sex.

When I asked him where this thing with us was headed (Was he my boyfriend? Are we exclusive? Is it just all about the sleeping together?), he just said "Does it really matter what we call each other?" and shrugged the matter off, he hasn't tolerated the question since.

I don't know if he's only playing with me or if I should play with him. I'm confused. I mean, he does take me to expensive dinners and he's really sweet but does he really care about me? Or is it all for the hook ups? Help, please.

Btw, I'm 16 and he's 18.

We're sort of friends with benefits, and I really don't want to ruin things with him. I'm so depressed, I just want us to go back to how we were. I mean, we had this whole camping trip all planned out, and it was supposed to be a chance for us to get to know each other a bit better. Now, I don't even know if we're still on for it.

I asked him if we were cool, and he just sort of mumbled that he was doing me a favor by staying out of my way, because, again, he doesn't deserve to talk to me. I'm so confused. My best friend tried talking to him, and she hays he was miserable. Well, so am I! But he still isn't talking to me, and I don't even understand why. I mean, who does that?

It just sucks. Is he really just going to throw away the past three years we've known each other for some misunderstanding?

It's so sad and I'm really confused.

I already asked this in one of my other questions, but no one answered. So I'm going to ask again. I hope you guys won't mind.

I'm an American citizen but my parents are pure Filipino. I've never been to America, and I've been living in the Philippines since I was born. My dad had worked in America for quite some time and he technically became an American citizen. When he retired, he came back to the Philippines, and married my mom. When I showed up, I automatically became an American citizen because my dad was. Or something like that. I already have a Consular Report of Birth Abroad or whatever you call it and I already have a U.S. passport. So, you don't have to doubt my being an American citizen.

Anyway, dad has petitioned me for a dual citizenship here in the Philippines. It already got approved and I'm just waiting for the official papers to come out. I'm attending college next year and I can't attend a college run by the Philippine government (or something) if I'm not a Filipino citizen so dad had to petition me so that I will be both Philippine and American citizen.

Will my American privileges be affected by this? Can I still fly in and out of the country without getting a visa? What are the disadvantages and advantages of having a dual citizenship?

I'm sorry if my questions sound stupid or whatever but I really have no idea. Dad's not here right now and I have nobody to ask. Can you guys answer these questions for me?

Can anyone recommend American films with a bit of British in them? I really like the combination, and I would be open to any suggestions. I would like something from this century, please. I enjoyed watching Letters to Juliet, Leap Year, Legally Blondes, and so may others. No horror movies, please, more on the chick flick side and please give me as many as you can think of. Any great movie will do, really. It could even be Irish or Australian, as long as the language is English.

I tried. I tried so hard to develop some sort of liking towards Twilight, and stop judging it, and convince myself that I only hated it because I like Harry Potter. But I couldn't.

A few minutes ago, I tried watching the first movie. It's actually been my third try this week, but I couldn't go halfway through the movie without hating it. Was it just me or was the acting kind of off? Like when Edward first talked to Bella, he said hello or something, I thought Robert didn't try hard enough and I wanted to stop. But I pushed through. But when the 'saving' came, gawd, I had to turn it off. I'm sorry.

So, anyway, my question was: I am the only one who felt this way while watching the movie?

Also, why couldn't I stand watching the movie? Why do you think?

In every site that I go to, there's always this sexual ad popping up, and I hate it. This begun when my 17-year-old brother started borrowing my computer, I ask him how to get rid of it and he says he didn't do anything and he doesn't know. Every hour or two, a new tab suddenly opens and has this video of the ex-girlfriends or whatever. OH MY GOD! I'm going to die. I'm only 14, what's my dad going to think? Right now, there's this girl in the right of the screen wearing denim shorts with a white top and a yellow scarf saying 'undress me'. Seriously, it's disgusting AND annoying. Anyone know how I can get rid of them? Please, I'm desperate.

I'm entering 4th year high school next school year and my parents told me that I need to start planning for college. I was thinking about getting CommArts, but I think only UP has that course. I won't be able to get into UP since I'm an American citizen, I need a dual citizenship. I'm planning on getting one later this April so I could get into UP, but I wanted to have as many options as I can. So can you guys help me?

I live in the suburbs near Tacloban city, in the Visayas region. I study in a PAASCU accredited Catholic school called St. Mary's Academy, it's the only PAASCU accredited school in our district. Can that be some sort of a benefit for me?

Oh, and please tell me whether that University allows American citizens, or if I can get in even without the dual citizenship. Thanks!

I really love to write, I'm good at public speaking, I got into the honor list, I do a lot of community help, I tutor for the street children, I'm part of the school marching band, and I write for the school paper.
