Okay so... I love the genre. But I want a wider variety. My favorite is Breathe Carolina.

Bands like them.

I'm not loooking for seperate genres. Like JUST screamo and JUST techno. But them combined (:

So I am 14 now, but have been writing poetry for a while now :) I appreciate constructive criticism and all . Totally open for ideas.

Her tears came fast

as his words slipped out.

the harshness is his voice

just caused all the more doubt.

did he really love her?

no one can be sure

now her dreams were broken

and her hopes crashed in a slur.

he said "iloveyou" many a time,

now he took it back

every time he said he cared

was just another attack

one by one, the tears they came

staining her porcelain face

he didn't kw she was so fragile

like an angel with such grace

she saw her life flash

right before her eyes

just like in the movies

right before someone dies

would she do the worst?

and kill the pain within.

picking up the knife

that was soon to pierce her skin

inside her heart was broken

her soul was slipping away

there was so much she wanted

so much left to say.

Here I sit,

all alone and where I cry.

I've lost all hope,

my tears are beginning to run dry.

You; my love, my life,

keep me from causing myself pain

You've saved me, i know,

from being ashamed.

Ashamed that I'm like this,

so broken, and so torn.

I don't know what to do,

I feel so crushed and so worn.

These feelings that I try,

so desperately to hide.

They pull and they tug,

leaving me so empty inside.

You fill the holes,

and I'm sure you'll never let go

The tears you fight back

are there to let me know.

My harsh words of misery,

are there to torment your soul.

Our impossible desire

makes it hard to be whole.

I want nothing more,

then to not have to hide

I want nothing more,

then to be by your side.

Yuh... just wanna kw what ppl think... and wat i should work on

Ok, I am 13 for the ppl who don't kw I love poetry and I usually write longer poems but I've been working with shorter pieces. So please... critism makes work better, so I accept it. Just want to know what you think.... Also I am never good at titles, so ideas are welcome.

Frozen in time,

my heart stands still.

Waiting on the love,

that will eventually kill.

Kill me from the pressure,

of my heart breaking in two.

Or maybe just the thought,

of not being with you.

Slowly I'm dying,

without you here by my side.

I can't wait forever,

my love cannot hide.

After the Rain

Lightning strikes, thunder rolls.

The whistling wind gently blows.

Cool drops of rain against my face,

As the storm grows at a gentle pace.

The sun comes out, the rain starts to dry

A rainbow fills the cloudy sky.

The month of April so rainy and cold,

Brings life to the beauty that May can hold.

should I make it longer?? if so what details should I add

another stanza??

is it good as is or do you think it should be longer???

i would like it to be longer since most of my other work is at least a bit longer

my recent ones have been short and I have never really like really short poems

First love is everything

For all of you that know

It’s the greatest feeling

People always want to show

To know someone loves you

Is the best thing in the world

It makes people dance

Whirl and twirl

But true love is hard to find

So when you do don’t let it go

For when you find the one

You surely will know

He’ll be the one that

isn’t afraid to say

“I love you” out loud

In front of everyone, everyday

There will be tough times

But hell, that’s how life goes

We'll get through it together

As our love blossoms and grows

rate my poem please I have just gotten over a tough case of writer's block and have since written many poems and this is just one of them

ok i need help on the last stanza... i need the last line or ideas to change the whole thing ((last stanza not whole poem))

but yea critisim is welcome and I need advice on how to make it sound a bit better since it seems awkward to me

This is more of a imagery poem and all please rate I wrote this in the 5th grade so I was 11.... I'm now 13 and have made little changes here and there but not many so please rate!

Blue Memories

Blue is Beauteous

Blue smells like boysenberries baking in the golden sun

Fresh wintry air

Magnificent sparkling flowers

The salty ocean water

Blue sounds like birds chirping in the early dawn

Rippling waterfalls hitting the cold sea

A baby boy begging for food

Wind chimes singing in the bustling breeze

Blue feels like soft blankets of Forget-Me-Nots in the lonely garden

A bluegill swimming against your legs

Miserable memories of horrible nightmares

Rain pouring down against your head

Blue tastes like juniper berries picked straight from the grove

Blueberry pie crisp out of the oven

Appetizing blue - raspberry ice cream from the parlor

Mouth-watering blueberry muffins fresh from the bakery

I don't want to know where it came from but I want to know the meaning of it.

It is a poem about my mother dying

She died while I was young and I wanted a poem for it

i have dramamine handy but I have heard that it can make you drowsy ((i have the original, not the non-drowsy))

I don't know if it is the same for everyone or not.

but i don't know if it would be good to take for my motion sickness on roller coasters with big drops and spins ((my friends are big roller coaster riders and I hate to be the one that is left to watch the things while they go on.. 'that's what happened to me last year')) soo

for people that have used both dramamine and bonine, which do you think works the best??
