concerned

I do performing arts in college, and for my musical theatre class I have to be video recorded singing a solo from a musical. I can sing whatever solo song I want from any musical, but to be honest I can't think of many songs I could do! I have to be in character while singing, and I'm a girl. My singing isnt excellent, but I just need to prove I can be in character and sing, so the song can't be TOO difficult, but difficult so its challenging.

Any ideas? It can be from any musical, and I am a girl so It must be a girl part oh, and It must be a solo song.

I got my laptop some years ago, and have had numerous technical problems with it. I got it sent away and it got sent back to me with the disk draw coming out, and i was annoyed by this and didnt know if disks will still work now, i couldnt test this out because they'd returned it to me with no operating system on. I didnt bother to send it back, as i didnt need it, as by this time i had already bought a new computer. This new computer had vista install, and my laptop was XP. I have the vista home premium disk because it came with the computer, is there anyway i could install Vista on my laptop, just so i've got a backup computer? If it is possible, i'm going to send it back, because i don't know if the disk drive will work now or not. When you pull it out, the whole thing comes out, I don't think thats normal. I have tried putting the disk in, but nothing happens.
