  • How do you upload songs from your iPod to iTunes? Lost music when re-starting my Mac. Please help!?

Does anyone know how to upload songs from an iPod to iTunes and sync both? Restarted my Mac a couple months ago and realized that my songs upload by CD weren't recovered and are on my iPod classic, but not iTunes. (I still have my music download via iTunes.) My iPod still has music uploaded from CD's. Lost a lot of CD's and want my music back on iTunes. Please help.

I followed the youtube video link below, but it didn't backup my music uploaded by CD. I just want my iTunes back to normal.

  • What size inlet on an exhaust tip will fit on my muffler with a 3" hole?

Just want to make sure I buy the right size inlet on an exhaust tip. So far I've seen sized that are 2.5",3.5",4",5" inlets. I assume the 3.5" inlet is the right one for me. Any additional info is much appreciated. Thanks for your help.

  • Which lift kit/tires etc. would be best performance wise for a 2011 Chevy 1500 silverado?

So I'm looking into suspension lift kits for my Silverado 1500 and wasn't sure if a 6" lift with 35" tires would be too tall for performance & the gravity issue lifted vehicle's have. So should I go for a 4" lift with 35" tires or what? I don't want to end up rolling it, but I do want the appropriate option for looks & performance; not just one of the other. I appreciate your opinion on this.

  • What's the best bow I can buy new for deer, elk, moose & turkey?

I am looking for the best compound bow that I can buy for here in Western Montana. It will primarily be used for deer, elk, turkey and if I'm lucky enough to draw the tag for moose. I was told by one bow salesmen that here in elk country you want knock down power for my bow to be able to dish out. I really liked the Hoyt Carbon Element RKT model, but this salesmen gave me that "knock down power" line like that's not what I wanted. (But he didn't sell Hoyt's). So what's the real deal in what I want? By the way, I am 6'0 and 245lbs just to size me up to bow specifics. I have been a rifle hunter and really want to get into bows and am sure I want the best I can buy without getting a cheap bow first. Anyways, your suggestions and knowledge shared are really appreciated. Links are much appreciated too. Thanks!

  • Where or how can you get the most money out of old gold jewelry?

Been divorced. I have a 14k gold ring that was purchased in '08 for around $850-$900 brand new. What's my best option in getting the most money out of it? What is a rough estimate of what you believe I should get for it? Also, I don't understand how jewelry stores can ask so much for their new gold jewelry and give "peanuts" for what they call scrap gold. Gold is gold, is it not? Anyways, thanks for your advice.

  • What's the process of registering firearms in your name that you have inherited from a deceased relative?

So, my girlfriends mother passed away a couple years ago and she was left with a couple older rifles. Her other siblings are hot to trot to the pawn shop with them and she wants to keep them for sentimental value, in which I think is the right thing in this situation. We live in the state of Montana and was hoping to get advice on getting these firearms re-registered in her name. I don't believe her mother bothered leaving a will. Anyways, thanks for your advice.

  • Where can I find a CCW belt of this description?

So I've seen lots of "gun belts" online, but I'm hoping they have a certain one that would have loops on the inside for my Inside waste band holster hoops to clip on to, thus concealing my holster clips from being seen provided I tuck my shirt in. I hope this description makes sense. It would be nice to find an average width and plain black leather belt if possible. Anyone have recommendations on a belt like this? Links are appreciated. Thanks.

  • What's a good holster for the Beretta Px4 storm?

I'm looking for a great holster for a full sized Beretta Px4 storm in 45 acp. Its a gift for my mother since she owns the gun. I need it to be an outside waist band for the shooting range and open carry if she chooses. Preferably leather, but not opposed to other materials. Links are appreciated. Quality recommendations please. Thanks for your help!

  • What's a good first bow for Deer, Elk, Black bear, and anything else in Montana?

Here in Montana, bow hunter's have an advantage of getting more game tags, unlike rifle hunter's; provided they're skilled enough with a bow and calls, etc. I am a rifle hunter and would like that advantage including a longer hunting season. What's a good first bow for a 6'00" tall 200lb grown adult? I'd like it to have camo and be anywhere from $400-$1,400. Of course I'd rather not even spend $1000. Any links would be great. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

  • Grouse Hunters: Do you ever find you need to pick the lead out of your bird before consumption?

I've always wondered with grouse or even anything else you hunt with a shotgun if there are times you need to pick out any lead or steel shot? With lead are you subject to lead poisoning? I've ask fellow hunters of mine (because I'm still a rookie) this same question and the only reply I get is, "Well, I've never gotten lead poisoning." I'd be much appreciative getting this question cleared up. Thanks.

  • Do they make a 20 gauge shotgun that shoots magnum cartridges?

So Remington makes an 870 Express Super "Magnum" in 12 gauge. Does Remington or any other shotgun manufacturer make a shotgun like this in 20 gauge? Is there such thing as a 20 gauge magnum cartridge? Thanks for clearing this up for me. Any links on a shotgun that matches my description is much appreciated.

  • What's a good grouse hunting shotgun?

So I'm looking for a cheap, but good functional quality for grouse hunting. Maybe something between $100 - $250. I'm sure a single shot break-action should suffice for my needs. Not sure what gauge & length barrel to go with. A co-worker of mine told me to go buy a cheap 26" break action .410 and another co-worker told me to go with a 20 gauge since it's more versatile and easier to find cartridges in stores. So what do all you grouse hunters recommend? Any links are appreciated. Thanks!

  • What's a good 6" lift kit for a 2010 dodge ram 1500?

I own a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 in crew cab 4x4 with the 5.7 Hemi and wanted to add a 6" lift on it. Being new to this I need more experienced recommendations. My budget is $3,000 on the lift kit, but would like to pay less if possible. Don't worry about recommending wheels & tires, I'll research that later. So I would like this lift for looks and functionality out in the woods/mountain roads/snow in Montana when hunting. I imagine I'd be more prone to off-roading having a quality kit. So based on what I'd probably like to get would be a suspension lift kit. Since I'm a rookie to this I'd like to hear you're recommendations based on my needs because I don't know what I'm really looking at besides prices. I'm sure I'll get what I pay for. Warranty's & weather resistance is important. Thanks for your help. Please leave links for kits if possible. Thanks.

  • Are lasers really necessary on tactical shotguns?

Just bought a Mossberg 590 20" barrel 9 shot 12 gauge and wanted to add accessories to my liking and am debating whether to add a light with or without the laser. I love having top of the line stuff on my guns, but is a laser really practical unless I'm incompetent (which I'm not) with the bead sight and tac light shooting 00 buck? Just wanted to hear everyone's 2 cents on this. I guess under pressure a laser may be nice, but then again it could give away my position in an extreme situation, but then so would just a light. Well, let me know if I should spend extra dough or not for the laser. I guess at least I'll have the option of using that feature or not. Thanks for everyone's logical and educated answers.

  • Legal process for giving a firearm as a gift?

My 15 yr. old cousin and I live in Montana. He will be taking Hunter's Ed early next month (Sept. 2011). I will be mentoring him in hunting. I wanted to surprise him with his own 12 gauge shotgun provided he passes his course and his parents give me "the okay". When I have bought every one of my own firearms, all I've had to do is fill out a form asking for personal information and 'yes or no' questions pertaining to criminal & mental history and questions alike, and then I'd be able to take it home that very same day. I thought a firearm is registered and can be traced backed to you through its serial number, so how is it registered? Since my cousin is a minor, how could I legally give him his own firearm for hunting?
