  • Looking for the name of a horror film from the 70s?

I saw it when I was kid probably between 1986 and 1992. I believe it was from the 70s and it was filmed in that grainy style that most of Clint Eastwood's movies were filmed in.

There were tourists or something from the North, that are on vacation in the South. Somehow, they get kidnapped or something by a bunch of Southerners who are still fighting the civil war. The all get killed in very gruesome ways, but the only one I remember in particular was that they put a guy or girl in a wooden barrel, hammered railroad spikes through it, then rolled it down the hill.

I watched a lot of Joe Bob Briggs Drive in Theatre, Gilbert Godfrey Up All Night, and Showtime, so it could have been on one of them, but I can't say for sure.

I've search all over IMDB and the internet, but I can't find anything even remotely close. I forgot about it until this morning when I read about "Curse of the Confederate Soldiers" but that turned out to be about zombies. This movie was just about a group of people who were still fighting the war.

Any help anyone can give me would be so appreciated.

  • Looking for a PC/Console based game like Magic: The Gathering?

I played Magic in card form growing up. I picked up the PC game in the 90s and it was utter rubbish. Recently, my wife and I have started playing Eye of Judgment for PS3 and we like it, but it's really limited and has a lot of camera issues. We also play Bakugan Battle Brawlers with our son on Wii and that's a lot of fun.

Does anybody know of any games that is card based like the above mentioned, or really similar, for pc or console? I would prefer PC that can be played across a LAN so that we can see only our own hands, not each others cards.

Any constructive answer will definitely get a thumbs up, and best answer will get 10 points.

    Thanks.

  • How do you talk to a wife that always cries?

Our marriage has a lot of problems, period. Opposite of most of the posts on here, I am the one willing to talk, but my wife will only talk 'when she's in the mood to talk.' The bigger problem is that when we do talk, she gets very defensive, and accuses me of blaming everything bad on her, then cries, which any good man knows tears are like kryptonite.

She is very stubborn in her ways. I am very unhappy with our current relationship, but if she can't/won't talk things out, how can we fix things? Counseling isn't a realistic option because she doesn't take criticism well, and will just turn on the counselor like she has me.

    Any contstructive comments are welcome.
