Hi, I want to start small game hunting with pellet guns and I need some help choosing out a gun. I mostly want to shoot rabbits and squirrel and maybe use it for pest control on raccoons or possums. I narrowed my choice to these three guns. First one is the gamo big cat .177 or .22 air rifle. Fps with the .177 is 1200 with PBA and the .22 is 950 with PBA. My question here is will a .22 with lower fps be better for hunting than a .177 with a higher fps? And any reviews on the accuracy and performance of these guns?

My next choice is a Benjamin trail go nitro piston rifle. This has a beautiful wood stock and it has a nitro piston. My same question goes here, the .177 with higher fps or the .22 with lower fps? And is the nitro piston better than a regular spring powered gun? Also any reviews on the accuracy and performance of this gun?

Im pretty strong, i weigh 155 and can bench 160, i can do 30 chin ups on average, but every time i do a fist i feel like im weak and cant punch? You know that feeling like its just not there and you cant hit hard its in your forearm and you cant get a good fist? Its this feeling i have when i do it what could be the problem?

I was told by a car painter that they have flat black clear coat and that it will be better for the purpose I want to use it for but is that true? Can anyone give me a link to where I can buy this flat black clear coat? And any ideas to paint aluminum flat black without anodizing that I can do at home, I'm thinking powder coat that may be a possibility. I don't want anodizing because it shows scratches and defects on the aluminum. A link where I can buy them would be appreciated thanks!

Hey guys I won an Abu Garcia revo stx on eBay with stripped paint ready for a paint job. It's all aluminum do how would I paint it? I've talked with a couple people and they said use colored clear cost not paint cause it's thinner and won't gum up like paint but I've never heard of them and I can't find it anywhere. I was thinking about painting the sideplates flat black and the frame flat white any opinions on what type of paint to use? And anybody have any cool ideas about designs? Thanks

I want to Paint a fishing reel it is aluminum and I'm not sure with the process of painting aluminum. I want the paint to last and I want it to be flat black and flat white so what type of paint, primer, and clear coat should I use so the paint job will be thin and last long without wearing out and getting scratched easily. So please some recomendations on what to use I don't want to spend a 100$ on a new powder coat setup looking for something around 40$ it's a small thing to paint. So something thin but strong and can take hard use in saltwater. And by thin I dont mean hair thin just thin enough so it will fit perfectly back together with all the screw spots and all the other things inside. Thanks

Hey guys so I need some help fixing up my bike. I bought a diamond back sorrento at a yard sale but it needs some work. I ordered a new chain and put it on need a new seat and so on. I was fixing up the shifters because they didn't work good. The shifter for the front derailleur was dirty so I cleaned and up now it works fine but the rear derailiyr shifter is having a problem. It doesn't shift when I push the button and it stays on one setting which is maxed out all the way. It's not even on the seventh spoke but that's what it shows. I think there's something wrong with it cause when I opened up to clean it, the numbers reset and right now it just doesn't shift. Any help guys? I can post up a pic if you like thanks

I wanna take the family on a safari vacation to see wild animals on those open jeeps or just walking or however they do it in the safari. Where should I look or do you have any travel sites I can look into I'm thinking south Africa because I read it's nice there but I dont know for sure. We wanna see lions, tigers, elephants, zebras, impalas, and so on we're can we do this. Can you please give me a location and a link with things too do there thanks. Also how much would an estimate be for 6 adults and 3 kids to fly from California to that place thanks

I wanna do the craziest **** ever even thought of, land an alby on 2 pound braid or Berkeley nanofil. Who's with me on this one springs almost coming up and I'm so fricken pumped I wanna get some albacore. After seeing some guy land an alby on 10 lb line I wanna do the craziest **** and put as much as my orra can hold of 2 pound test braid or Berkeley nanofil and some type of ultra light rod with a hooked sardine swimming freely on freespool I wanna show how good Abu Garcia reels are and I just wanna do something so fuking crazy that no one has ever attempted who's with me!!!!!!! C'mon guys I need all the confidence I can get this spring is gonna be fuxking crazy and rod reel line recomendations? Nay Sayers can go to hell and I want to salute anyone else who tries to pull off crazy **** like this I know itll take me like 5 hours to bring in the alby but I'm cool with that I will even film it if I have to.

Have any of you guys ever wondered how the fish don't seem to mind all the wires and hooks and stuff like on the Alabama rig how do fish not see those big thick stainless steel wires don't they think that something is wrong? Or when your live bait fishing and there's a big shiny metal hook in your bait dont fish think thats awkward or there's something wrong but you still manage to catch a fish on one and when they see a floating shad staying in exactly one spot with a big fat neon yellow jig head on its back, don't they say wtf is that or they could atleast not eat it right so what makes them eat it!?!?!? Hey guys looking for a new rod to pair with my calcutta 400 i want it to be from 7.6-8 feet long with line rating anywhere from 8-20 and lure weight up to 1 1/2 ounce or 3/4 ounce max. The price would be better lower up to 120$ so any help? I want to use this for calico bass fishing with soft swimbaits like big hammers or live bait on jigs so a sensitive tip but i can live with a rod that us not sensitive. People know will spend 800$ on a rod because it is "sensitive" its not like your gonna f*ck with it its just fishing you can live with a rod that is not sensitive damn. And gmb is there any good stuff keft at the j&t tackle swap meet? I know you should go thee cause its cloe to you or is it just left over crap from other swapmeets that people didnt buy? Im thinking of buying one cause I heard there do good but I want a more honest and real approach so I'm asking you guys have you used it? Any upgrades you guys gave to it ? I heard cutting the middle wire onion half and attaching a spinner blade is better. What did you guys catch with It and would it work for stripers in SoCal? Thanks

How many people here on this forum have tried calico bass fishing? I wanna get into it more just interested if anyone else has ever tried it. It's most abundant here in so cal but I suspect Florida to have it pretty abundant too because everything's good there. So anyone that has tried it any tips you guys can give me? Lure, bait, rod, reel, line selection? Gmb you had to try it atleast once it's like largemouth bass of saltwater

I saw the in fisherman show they were ice fishing but with live minnows how the hell do they manage to catch them? It's hard enough in summer but in winter it's near imossible do they buy them from the store or what? And how do they catch them
